Nah, pretty sure if I wanted an ak I'd just buy one.
I like the whole "semi auto but fudd stock" shit SKSes have going and would love one in a larger caliber than 7.62x39.
An FN-49 is about perfect in terms of personal aesthetic choices.

What exactly is wrong with the Yugo SKS? I'm a Leaf, so I'll be buying a Russian surplus one, but I've never been clear about the issues with the former.
>>33371946
barrel isn't chromed so its more prone to corrosion
>>33371961
Shit, I didn't know that.

If that KSS 64 existed I would buy one regardless of cost.
Captcha: Terue Sexy. Fitting.

Leaf as in Canadian? In that case you can get Russian sks's for like $200

You should definitely own a 1911
Y'all keep an eye out on eBay for these pouches, some dude in Canada makes them and puts them up sometimes.

Any idea on the sellers name? Really digging this
Okay so, i want to put rails on my Yugo. Should I go with piston cover rails? Or rear assembly? From what Ive seen the rear cover ones tend to be a bit loose and lose zero on any scope, as well as getting hit by brass. And the forward pistong cover doesnt have those problems. But im not sure how comfortable or practical it is to use a sight that far forward. Can anybody weigh in?

>>33375351
damn, i kinda wish i had a Standard SKS just so i had a use for that clip pouch.

>that cheek weld on those SKSs
>>33376045
they arent built for the left handed.
So is there really a difference in terms of durability and accuracy when comparing a screwed in barrel to a pinned barrel on a Chinese SKS? I can't find any conclusive proof that one is better than the other.
>>33373876
>>33366105
How easy would it be to convert a normal SKS into a KSS-64?
>>33376324
Nor are they meant for right handed.
>>33373876
As a lefty the bullpup SKS has always scared me, like I can feel its desire to break all my teeth.
BEHOLD.

Get another one then
>>33375582
Don't even bother with mounting anything to the rear, it's useless
I soundly recommend any kind of mounts but if you have to go with a brasstacker
