Cartoons/Comics that are operator enough for /k/?
This was the only cartoon I could think of that had operator as fuck scenes
Archer
>>33365857
Punisher is /k/'s comic book. Or the Magnificent Kev. But damn Punisher's gun vault series or whatever it is is just pure /k/.
>>33365857
These had like a combined total of 15 minutes of screen time sadly
>>33365857
Exosquad.
>>33366048
When the Punisher MAX line first launched in 2004 it's pure gold for like 60 issues. Then that series has like 15 more issues, some are good some aren't as good, but it's all decent. First volume has some really great stuff.
Punisher armory
This could have saved an entire generation had it been made into a cartoon.
>>33365857
>Hip firing and dual wielding.
Ok broski
>>33366009
This, points out hearing loss and tinnitus from shooting without earpro and keeping track of how many rounds left in magazines.
>>33366695
nigga it's fucking Star Wars those guns probably don't even have recoil
>>33366704
>Those guns probably don't even have recoil
Than why can't they shoulder them?
It's Star Wars. Lasers are a shit. Slug throwers would kill any Jedi or Sith before they could react. I don't care how good there senses and reflexes are.
Here's a theory for you /k/
Lets say a Jedi/Sith manages to block a .308
Would the saber completely destroy the bullet before it reached him, or would it be a super heated slug of copper and lead that punches through him and leaves a nice cauterized hole?
>>33366884
Why hit it with the saber when they could alter the trajectory or stop it all together with the force?
>>33365857
>>33366884
It turns into lead vapor and gives the Jedi lead poisoning unless he uses his little oxygen respirator thingie,
>>33366946
Still implying that they can react fast enough. They're not in the fucking matrix. They're not gonna just old up their hand and stop 30 rounds of 5.56 traveling at mach jesus. Even if they can stop, deflect, or dodge bullets. It would still be very easy to take out a Jedi with a 30 round mag. They simply can't react faster than the bullets flying at them. Even if they sense it and move before the shots are fired, that's a lot of lead flying at them.
>>33365857
Ghost in the Shell
all of them, some seasons are better than others sure, but its pretty operator.
>>33366884
since Jedi are simply humanoid Buddhist Orks, daka has no effect on them because they don't want it to, and they all believe this hard enough so its true.
>>33365857
i fucking love that show. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RCFA0YGESQ4
>>33365857
Republic Commando is pretty good game, if you can deal with the very narrow 00s console field of view. There's mods that make it a little better. Your AI guys are actually useful and needed, instead of being ordered to stay behind while you do everything yourself.
>>33367038
>still implying they can react fast enough
thats the thing anon
THEY CAN
>>33366884
pretty sure there was a comic, where bounty hunters sprayed jedis with slug throwers and the caption "they can't deflect those, the heat of their sabers turn the slugs into liquid and burn them down"
>>33367038
On top of being extremely hot, I think sabers are solid. Otherwise they couldn't dual each other anon. Also they aren't just reacting, they have pre cognition from their affinity with the force. This isn't even EU knowledge on the subject, you need to go back and watch the movies again, or shut your ignorant mouth.
>>33367111
>they have pre cognition from their affinity with the force.
I understand this and I watch the movies pretty much once a year.
But I still believe it would be very easy to kill a force used with a rifle or shotgun. Easier than with a blaster.
>>33367137
Anon, in the EU there was quite a liking for flechette rifles and carbines, especially rapidfires (read, shotfuns) because, you guessed it, Jedi can deflect a blaster, maybe even a boolit. But say, ten per shot? When a bounty-hunter is mag-dumping him? Nuh-uh.
>>33367111
Geek shit incoming.
>light sabers are solid.
Nope. It's plasma bent into a loop using a magnetic field. Goes out, turns around, goes back. Minimal to no energy loss.
That one saber will stop another saber isn't the plasma interacting with plasma - it's the magnetic fields encountering each other.
And plasma would vaporize any projectiles heading their way... a bolt of lightning is about 53,000 degrees F (30,000K).
>>33367078
>instead of being ordered to stay behind while you do everything yourself
Except for that last misson
RIP in peace sev
Noone has mentioned Deadpool yet? He is armed to the gills, has a one digit IQ and cannot be harmed permanently in any way. It's how /k/ think operators are... right?
>>33366972
>lives on the edge
Sounds like a lot of 4chan.
>>33367769
if anything im sure he was more operator before being a mutant and a asshole
>>33367577
>Lightning is fucking hotter than the Sun's photosphere
Neato
>>33367577
Does that still apply to the New Canon, where the crystals in the sabers are also imbued with the Force?
>>33367801
Mutate. Mutants are a natural phenomenon, his healing factor was lab-injected.
>>33367815
Saber crystals don't have to be khyber, Jedi just prefer them because it lets them be attuned to their sabers.
Howling Commandoes
>>33366884
Kylo could stop laser bolts with his fucking mind and you think a fucking .308 will somehow get him
>>33368070
Anon... I.... did someone mention the Howling Commandos?
>>33367983
That doesn't answer the question. What is still canon of the 20+ years of starwars I know.
>>33368216
It's canon. In The Clone Wars Jedi younglings perform a ritual that guides them to a crystal by overcoming a personal fault.
Sith just use artificial crystals.
Hans Von Hammer was a cool guy.

huh....wonder where my balls are then because i cant seem to find them.
>>33365857
Three was pretty /k/, even if his main weapon was "THINGS WILL BE LOUD NOW" compressed into a high speed toroid.
>>33367038
remember lukes duel with vader in cloud city when vader was throwing all that heavy shit at luke and he managed to deflect or reflect it all away from him?
take the total energy of some of that space station debris and compare it to a handful of ~60 grain bullets
I think any worthwhile Jedi shouldn't have an issue stopping conventional rifle rounds unless you manage to get around their spidey sense order 66 style
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKDKgnNFOaI
what else but motherfucking starship troopers
Codename: Kids Next Door was pretty operator.
>>33366695
Yeah and it also has teacupping and dual-wielding and no TD. Archer isn't operator, champ.
>>33368070
Their latest incarnation was too much of a Ghost Recon Future Soldier ripoff for me.
>>33369824
Not as operator as Fillmore.
>>33365857
Jack is pretty fuckin operator so far in the new season
>>33366884
Lasers travel at the speed of light. WAYYYYY fucking faster than any solid mass projectile can be moved with a chemical reaction.
>>33368669
Shame there were only three episodes
>>33368828
You guys thinking Jedi would easily be able to stop bullets are retarded.
Jedi obviously have super fast reaction speeds to be able to block blaster fire. They are guided by the force to be able to do it. It is impressive, yes.
However, let's examine a few things.
Your own example, in ESB, Vader eventually starts beating the shit out of Luke with slow moving pieces of garbage. Luke does not block that many.
Adam Savage has calculated the speed of a blaster bolt at 20% that of a real bullet. So a rifle round is effectively invisible and moving 5x faster than anything we've seen a Jedi block before.
Volume of fire is effective against Jedi, we see this in Attack of the Clones when the Jedi take heavy casualties against shit tier robots that just shoot at them. The Jedi are actually fully ensared by droid army, and are only saved by the arrival Clone Troopers.
Jedi are obviously faster than humans, but are still limited by the physical bodies to use the saber to block anything. It still takes time for the jedi to move the lightsaber through space, so a high volume of fire is going to be too much for them to block.
Arguably the most impressive thing we've ever seen a force user do is to catch and hold a blaster bolt in midair. We've only seen one person do this one time and it seems to take a fair amount of concentration. Like was said, this isn't The Matrix, we've never seen a force user do anything like stop a wall of blaster fire.
Maybe they can? But maybe they can't. We've also seen that using the force is physically draining, so again, volume of fire is going to overwhelm them.
At the end of the day, I think gunfire would be one of the most effective weapons against Jedi.
>>33375609
Not true in the Star Wars Universe. See: >>33375923
In Star Wars they're not firing laser beams. They're firing heated plasma and they move slowly.
>>33368724
I could help you look, if you want.
>>33367804
>1920s furry shit
>>33375946
This, those blaster bolts aren't lasers. They're plasma that uses gas cartridges that can power 500 bolts or more

Black Lagoon is pretty awesome. There is a lot of Hollywood-tier stuff in it, most notably akimbo gunkata shooting, but regardless it's a great watch. Also, having grown up in an ex-Soviet country the Hotel Moscow faction is very well portrayed. A lot of ex-military was and indeed still is, running the organized crime in many ex-soviet countries.
