Which is the superior rifle?
>>33360633
The one that doesn't beat itself apart.
Ar-10 hands down.
Especially when you get into specifics like the SR-25.
>>33360712
Untested. Not a soldiers rifle
>>33361472
I guarantee you've never even shot a gun and spend your time sounding cool in youtube comments
>>33361472
The Dragunov isn't exactly a Soldier's rifle either, considering that they weigh 10 pounds, only have 10 round magazines, and use the most archaic full sized rifle cartridge still in service.
>>33361587
Russians are hardier people. They don't have the life of priviledge ameriburgers do. Americans couldn't possibly field a mosin for this reason, for example
>>33360633
AR 10 by far.
If you think otherwise you're just a retarded slavaboo and this is coming from an AK guy.
Last I took out my own AR 10 I shot a 1.25 MOA group with my first three shots using some random reloads I was gifted for christmas. With match ammo it should easily be able to to go down to .75 moa or less.
>>33360633
Neither, cause I'm to poor to afford one atm. Can't wait to get out of debt, so I can buy more funs (Have not bought a gun in almost two yrs)
>>33361690
russians couldn't possibly field a professional army for this reason
they also couldn't possibly field military equipment designed to do anything but be as cheap as possible while almost being functional.
>>33361690
Americans literally had MNs in the first world war, and found they could make something more effective without really even trying very hard. 20+ years later, Russia was still making and fielding inferior rifles because tooling is hard or something.
>>33360633
Dragunov hands down, or a scoped g3 or fal .

>>33360633
AR-10, considering you can actually get one for a reasonable price. It also wins in modularity, aftermarket and accuracy.
However, I would buy a Dragunov before an AR-10 if they were similarly priced, just for the cool factor.
>>33361472
it has tight tolerances as well
>cokeman memes three posts in.
>thread derailed
fucking hell.
>>33361472
What the hell do you call this then?
>>33364340
It's an old ass meme, calm down.
>>33364340
yea, i love how most people don't think the AR-10 is getting fielded by various units for like 15 years now. it's rare. it's a specialists rifle. but, it's seen plenty of real combat.
>>33364369
As specialist as a pipe wrench is to a tradesman plumber.
>>33364340
>When your Arab friend is giving away your position
>>33361690
Yeah, americans are generally familiar with firearms, so if they were issued a mosin they would be upset that their government is trying to fuck them over and just bring their superior rifle from home.
boat anchors.
>>33360633
Why are his mags upside down?
>>33361587
Dragunov is DMR.
>>33364390
Afghan.
Nerver heard of Finnish Rk 62?
>>33360633
AR10 is better in almost every aspect.
>>33367567
What does that have to do with any of this
>>33361732
You can push an SVD to MOA, or below even, but it is harder and the scopes and other shit don't make it simple.
Drags have kinda shitty way of attaching a scope if you are looking for MOA or below. That being said for the intended purpose the scope mounting system is ok.
Whether dragunov is a DMR or a sniper rifle is a retarded argument, as it can be both and neither (just like an AR10).
AR10 is a better rifle.
t. a guy who actually owns an SVD
>>33364287
>it's unreliable ladies and gens!
>>33364148
>fal as a precision rifle
>>33360633
Depends what you want it for.
>Issuing it to an army of conscripted peasants so unified condition 3 manual of arms and long maintenance interval is important
SVD every time
>Buying for personal use for long range marksmanship against soft targets where more advanced bullet design is important and parts wear isn't really a concern
AR-10 every time
>>33364340
That's an ar15, noob
>>33367560
He looks like he smells fantastic
>>33361472
ITS NOT A SOLDIER'S GUN! UNRELIABLE!
>>33368313
That's an SR-25 nipple dick.
>>33360633
how fat is that guy? jesus
>>33360633
If you want a sniper rifle, the AR10 is the way to go. If you want a designated marksman's rifle, definitely the AR10. If you're looking for something that can be pushed into a more traditional infantry role, the AR10 is undoubtedly better. Now, if you are asking me which rifle is aesthetically more appealing? Well, certainly the AR10.
>>33369273
Not them but modern "AR10s" have more in common with the AR15 than the AR10. AR15 wasn't just an AR10 but smaller, and modern "AR10s" are based on the AR15 for parts commonality.
>>33360633
AR. Dragunov is garbage.
My dad bought an AR-10 recently. It really does just look like a fat AR-15 with 'nam mags.
