Those were heavier legos though- filled with lead shot and epoxy. 8 grains is close to 0.5 grams, which is on the 'heavy' side for airshit projectiles. Clock them about 350-400 fps and you should have a non-lethal cartridge, which decent accuracy and range.

I don't remember anything in video mentioning that, they just increased the powder charge but the Lego heads were standard Lego heads for all shots.

And the same 3"-4" penetration into ballistic gelatin and clay, will absolutely penetrate into a human (depending on clothing).
