My work gave me a $500 gift card to Cabela's, and I'd like some advice from you faggots on how to spend it. Current front funner is a Pennsylvania long rifle (because fuck those thieving Kentucks). I'm open to other black powder offerings though.
I know Cabela's is wallet-rape, but I already have the $500 gift card so I may as well use it towards something I want.

Thanks, I hadn't really considered a revolver, but it does seem like a lot of fun.
A long gun would be used mostly for target shooting and potentially durr.

The brass frames tend to stretch and beat themselves up with loads greater than 20gr. They aren't horrible guns in their own right, but for the price why not pay the extra $50 for a steel frame that'll last longer
