It is so needlessly complex having to break open the reciever just to reload but fuck if it's a beauty of a rifle. I carried one that I fully upgraded but never ended up using outside of boss fights. I am real tempted to play a loud and homicidal playthrough someday. Only complete playthrough I did was quiet and pacifist.

I mean the space marine battle force has been replaced on their website with some weird starter set that has a tactical squad (which have gone up to £25, from £18 a couple of years ago.) A terminator captain and a vernable dreadnought. It just draws away from the aspect of countless amounts of troops.

Granted space marines are supposed to be rare, but having things like a venerable dreadnought per each battleforce replacement is just stupid. Not to mention the rebranding of the Imperial Guard. It's all so shite and overpriced nowdays.

ever since i played it as a kid, the Resistance series has had the best scifi guns of all time imo. id take either the bullseye (able to cause wounds that wouldnt close up, leading to bleeding out) or the auger (able to see heat signatures through walls and shoot through said walls, as well as deploy frontal plasma shields)
