My .300blk AR lives behind the back seat of my Tacoma. Despite being a 14.5" p+w it actually fits in the miscellaneous storage bin and I was even able to fab a bracket for it so it's not rattling around back there.

Full time 4WD is almost always an option. Yes, it's an option on a lot more vehicles these days, but it's still fairly uncommon.

I can't think of many that are worse than a full size pickup, outside of sports cars which aren't that common.
