I took Vyvanse during summer school going into my sophomore year. Got a 36 on my first test, no drugs. Started taking Vyvanse before my 3 hour classes. Got a 100, 99, 100 on my next 2 tests and final.

Ended up with a 100 in the class (lowest test grade dropped because I went to teacher and said "look how much harder I worked").

It's amazing what Vyvanse/Adderall can do. I was one of those kids who never applied himself but who still aced most classes. It was harder to do that in college.

But, I was in NROTC, so I could only take it during the summer since we were drug tested decently often.

Now I'm in flight school, about to start API. I would never risk my career or integrity taking drugs now, but sometimes I think how easy the flight school pipeline would be if I could take Adderall.

Also, I'm naturally shy, and Vyvanse made it to where I could actually talk and hit on girls, which would normally take a lot of alcohol.

I had a prescription for Adderall for a long time but after a couple years it just gave me stomach pain, a high heart rate, and sweats. I should have just upgraded to crystal.

I grew up in a town plagued by addiction and when we were in high school we could get any drug we wanted.. be it pills, weed, coke, xanax and we even had creepy guys that would offer to sell us GUNS, but the things we could not get were cigarettes and ALCOHOL! Because what self respecting adult sells teenagers alcohol.. we would literally have to get it from homeless guys! IF drugs were legalized it would protect children more than now. For many of my friends the first drugs they ever tried was their mom's pills. So yes healthcare workers should explain that opiates are addictive but prohibition needs to be ended entirely and people just need to be warned of the risks associated with different substances and be truthful about it. Many kids wrongly assumed pills were not that harmful because DARE agents told us weed would kill us!
Doctors should not prescribe pain killers to people who have never taken them, but if a person understands the risks they should be able to put whatever substance into their body they want.

Yep sounds like fenethylline aka Captagon. The stuff was used as medication for ADHD, depression and narcolepsy until 80's. Where it differs from most other amphetamine derived drugs is that it has stronger analgesic effect, like other similar drugs it also enhances effects of opiates.
