Actually I've also read Rhodies also kept their select fire FAL's on semi, to conserve ammo and improve accuracy. They used MAG's for spray and prayin, and those things fucked floppies UP. It's amazing how progressive Rhodesia's defence forces were in terms of COIN, it really was the present era's Sparta.

You're mostly correct but anti-colonial sentiments were a factor in the UK and if the UK wouldn't protect the former colonies the US definitely wouldn't. They give you a store credit but if you ask they'll straight up refund it. I'm just annoyed because the hat was the only practical item I ordered.

I have a set of Ivan's Rhodie if anybody is interested who didn't get it before it sold out. Nothing wrong with it, I'm just deeper need of cash than I was when I bought it. Pants are medium-regular, shirt is small-regular.
