I'm curious.
What kind of high temp metal is used in the hot section? Everything from the combustor to the nozzle. If it's not classified, of course.

Also, what type of welding is it that you do?

Does the USAF have an equal number of pilots to air craft, or more pilots than air craft?

Like if the AF has 100 drones, do they have more than 100 drone pilot positions?

More pilots, by far. If you had a 1:1 ratio of pilots to aircraft, any time you lose a pilot you would also lose a jet. If you have a high ratio of pilots to jets, you can maximize your sortie generation while allowing the other aircrew to get adequate rest/mission plan/take a sick day etc. Cargo/tanker/bomber aircraft especially need that high ratio if they expect to stay airborne for 12+ hours missions. They need multiple pilots on board to rotate crew duties so there isn't just one extremely fatigued guy flying the entire mission.
