I would think some variety of 12 gauge would be a good choice. AA-12, USAS 12, Siaga 12- things like that. A wide variety of shot and slugs could be used against whatever you might come up against.

For rifles don't stray beneath 7.62.
12 Gauges would probably be your best choice you can get all sorts of creative loading shells.

Just get tom bombadil to come rescue you.

44 magnum lever gun loaded with silver bullets with an iron core.
Sidearm is a sawn off shotgun loaded with rock salt
Secondary sidearm is pistol of your choice.

44 mag because it's a physically large bullet and will inject more silver and iron into a spooky per shot than a 7.62 rifle, plus it'd be easier to reload.

Salt, silver and iron have a lot of lore about stopping spooky creatures. I'm sure there's a lot of other good ingredients im missing

Any half decent rifle, so long as it is blessed but a priest and you're using silver plated hollow points with a small core of condensed white ash with the scripture written on them in tiny letters, priest blessed hoppes no. 9 works well too.

Good old 30-06 tracers ought to do the job.

Lever gun in .357 or larger, hollowpoint ammo, silver plated. Fill hollow with white ash and salt.
