Hired killers or cartel guys might spend more because they are less likely to lose the gun to arrest, etc, and also make more.

I'd actually expect to see a rise in M&P Shields in crime, since they're in larger calibers and have low prices.

At best you've "heard" or "read" but you've never seen it. Post up proof. Heck, post proof of any full auto being used in crime in LA.

Only one I recall is 1997 North Hollywood shootout. Those were not gang bangers, those were bank robbers who were very firearms centered and even made their own body armor suits.

Converting a gun to full auto is not the easiest thing in the world and most hood rats aren't going to take the time or spend the money. Sure, a gun smith can do it pretty easily, or someone comfortable with machining, but it's not like these days you just drop in a part. The ATF has made sure that guns aren't "readily convertible" so most guns won't accept an auto sear without machining.

Copfag here, you'd be surprised at how many dindus have fudd .22's like Marlin model 60s or chopped down .22 bolt actions.

As far as handguns go hi points aren't as common as you might assume (they're way too big to carry without a holster comfortably) while SD9VEs are really common among dealers. There's still a plethora of Ravens, Phoenix Arms, and other ring of fire company guns on the streets though. Don't see too many Tec 9's anymore but they still turn up sometimes, especially among older redguards.
