Its missing the original rear sight, but the rest of it is matching numbers. The action feels significantly tighter than my 1941 k98.

My swede is my best rifle I'd take it as well any day over my K98 the 6.5 is a very reliable flat shooting round

Based Elit. The nicest looking of the target sights.

Very nice rifle, I have a pretty rough and somewhat bubba's m/96 that has been bedded with some old fashioned putty bedding and the bands have been made to fit rather tight with something that looks like JB Weld applied to the inside then sanded smooth. My 96-38 is a little less molested but the stock isn't matching and it's been sanded so unfortunately all the markings are gone.
