With hammer guns you ride the hammer with your thumb on the reholster - no issue.

No hammer? Use your off hand to tilt your holster forward to angle the muzzle away from your sperm sperger, no problems, no risk. And now you can carry a full size or even longslide gun deeper and more concealed, with better access sitting, and your draw is basically .25 faster by default.


AWIB has the cumulative characteristics of the perfect carry set up, you eventually start to love the feel of the muzzle nuzzling up against your pecker.

It's a stock blade tech nano, it's ok and very serviceable, well designed (good spacing for the FSP on the draw), doesn't have all the trimmings, but I could use it forever with no real issues, and it's fast and secure. Only thing that sucked was mutilating it on a table saw

I would use the newer gun as the training gun. The one you have is probably more "proven" to you in the sense that you have already ran it through a couple hundred rounds of ammo including your defensive rounds and have verified that it is reliable.

I'm not well versed in HK stuff so I couldn't give you a recommendation. In an effort to keep reliability to a maximum, I would only recommend sticking with factory configured mags.

I'm under experienced to comment, I'm the guy currently carrying the cut down Blade Tech Nano - p. solid after cutting off the sweat guard.

I have a JMCK ~1 week out and a really really nifty build coming from a smaller shop in the mail now, accommodated for a threaded barrel and a TLR-1 HL WML.

I only have direct experience with one set up - so I'm not useful, but the guy I found to build me that WML rig (took me almost 3 weeks) seems legit as fuck, he's a carrier, competitor and enthusiast, the way we dialed in my custom build was me explaining my body type and preferred carry characteristics, he seems super knowledgeable.

Here's his site, product looks good (site is junk but that isn't relevant), I'll have a hands on report ready in a week or so after it arrives and I've had some time carrying.

Definitely the best duty holster you can find. I have carried both the light compatible 6360 ALS and non-light 7360 7TS. Draw speed is as fast as a no retention holster with some practice and it had built in safety features to keep your gun from being grabbed. SFL is the only duty holster I will use now.
