I have an 85fs with the straight mag 380, how much thicker is the .32 with the 12 or 13 round mag?
>>33326510
it doesn't get any cuter than a subcompact Glock.
>>33326510
>>33326854
>tfw it's objectively worse than the Glock 20 by every metric
Why does Glock have to make such good guns so fucking ugly?
>>33326510
Any SAA.

But they aren't
>>33326510
They're pure sex.

no. and even if it were, get a G19 or G17 mag as your backup and you can transform the subcompact cutie into a full size gun should the need arise.
Who /brigadiertier/ here?
>>33327467
Me.
>>33327467
Smexy, I want a Brigadier slide for my Inox, but haven't found one yet.
>>33326821
Worst Glock in Worst Caliber. Congrats.
>>33327335
I have a G26 and almost never shoot it, it is super awkward to hold, even for girls with small hands. A pinky/mag extension isn't even enough for my man hands.
I did order some G17 mags and mag sleeves to extend the grip to something a man can hold.
>>33327496
I think it's worth it. I brought mine to the range and compared it to the standard 92FS; there was definitely a discernible difference in their handling.
>>33327496
Shieet
Is the body just a brigadier model or does the samurai edge need a different frame?
I feel like I've heard something about the brig model not being enough for the build.
>>33327270
One that's of reasonable quality, fits your hands well and speaks to you.
It's really just as simple as that and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
>>33327335
It is for many, but not all, only you can tell for yourself. Just go down to your local gun dealership and fingerfuck everything that looks interesting. Don't forget to dryfire (with the counterman's permission, of course) trigger feel is almost as important as general ergonomics to handgun selection.
Many people buy handguns just because they're popular or they come highly recommended by someone and then hate them because they're uncomfortable to shoot. You will never perform as well as you would with a comfortable handgun and practice will become a chore instead of a privilege
>>33326510
>>33327496
CAUSIN!
>>33328341
Wish these weren't so rare, I think that are rad as fuck and want one badly.
>>33328229
It's a 92F frame and a Brig slide.
The newer Brig frames are slanted, not straight.
>>33328349
Yo man. Guns are still looking fine.
i'd trade my glock 19 gen 4 for a gen 2 glock, i like the aesthetics more.
>>33328355
You can still have one smith'd for you if you have the dosh
>>33328458
>aesthetics
Glocks look like a video game model before the textures are applied.
>>33328479
to each their own
i think glock 19s and colt 1903s are the two best looking handguns.
>>33328417

Would an older brig or FS frame work? Is there a cutoff when Beretta changed the frame design?
>>33327093
inb4 negligent discharge the one bullet you missed and you have to explain to the police why you were throwing loaded guns at your cat
>welcome to the ATF, anon *cues Deus Ex theme*
>>33328885
Yeah, those would work fine, and really it's just preference. If you don't mind the slanted slide, new Brigs would be ideal.
I tried to find an older Brig when I began the project, but couldn't. Ended up seeing a great deal on a new Brig at a local shop and bought it. Then I bought a 92F off armslist and swapped the stuff.
Traded the leftover pistol for a VP70z.
All in all a good deal.
>>33328941
Not that anon but how much did you pay for the 92F? Guy on armslist wants 550 for one with 4 mags and a case. I like the fact that is has the straight frame and metal parts unlike new production but idk if 550 is over paying
>>33326572
I just got a set for my cc
might need to be sanded down a little on the inside as the mag sticks a bit halfway in, but that doesn't bother me much
>>33328521
the gen4 of the 19s/compacts are nice looking weapons.
>>33329179
I snagged one in perfect condition and 2 mags for $400. But it had been up for a long time. I typically saw them going for $450-$550 depending on condition.

Has anyone here finished an 80% 1911 frame?
Any tips?
>>33327496
>>33328349
I have never even shot a Beretta, any Beretta, but now I feel the need to spend a shitload of money customizing one until I craft my own Samurai Edge jesus guys those are sexy.
>>33330492
Thanks.
I understand your desire. I initially bought SE grips for my Beretta Inox Compact, but it kept nagging at me and nagging at me until I caved and had to build a legit one.
It's just so... sexy
>tfw not enough money for a meme pistol
>>33329227
Is that the all steel 75 compact or the PCR? Looks like the all steel. If it is, does the non-upswept beaver tail bother you at all? I was thinking of getting one, but I heard that was one of the only complaints on the gun. Can't rent one around here.
>>33326510
>>33331121
I like you.
>>33326510
Gonna see if I can get a gunsmith to craft me one, since it's designs are online.

It's the thinking mans choice
Browning every day, all day
What's a good sort of finish for walnut grips on a gun that will see a lot of use? I'm thinking a couple coats of thin brushed lacquer or linseed oil.
I'm looking at getting a decent revolver for around $450 or less, something that's not a snub nose.
my current favorite of mine
>>33333933
How was this not posting earlier, this gun(Even without Han Solo) breaths swagger and sex. just pure sex.
>>33334007
Assuming you don't want to go with some cheap brand like Taurus or RIA, you could try for an older Ruger Security Six, or maybe a used GP100 if you get lucky as far as .357.
S&W Model 10 is a good, fairly cheap option if you're just looking to shoot .38.
>>33326880
took me a minute
>>33334010
This gun is Mtn. Dew / Professional wrestling tier.
>>33326615
The .32 is actually thinner than the .380 with a single stack.
>>33330175
there's SEA kids making 1911s with hand tools. get some instructions and attempt to do your work while sober
>>33334191
legitimately don't know what the fuck that even means
My favorite by far
>>33334256
2nding this.
>>33334256
>>33334293
It means his favorite music group / artist is five finger death punch, he owns at least 3 AFFLICTION t-shirts, drives a lifted F-150, watches pro wrestling, eats fast food burgers 1 to 3 times a day, and owns camo even though he doesn't hunt. Does that paint a picture for you?
>>33334029
they look much better without moding it to be han solos
wjile ill admit han solos looked nice, the original is better
>>33334010
that handle is abhorring
>>33334274
so awesome
>>33334010
>that handle
>>33326615
Same frame as far as I know, but there is a single stack frame
>>33327496
they ruined it with the engraving on the slide
otherwise 11/10 sex
>>33330175
oh god, too polished
looking at this feels like eating something so sugary it makes your teeth hurt
>>33327496
Those DS grips? How long was the wait?
>>33326510
Because who needs a safety
>>33334274
dat longslide
>>33326854
Have had experience shooting 2 jerichos. One old police import in 9 and one baby eagle in 40. Both would jam and one would have failures to eject. They look sexy but I wouldn't trust my life to one.
Sphinx SDP. Budget Swiss 9. Shoots like a dream.
>>33335569
The first pair I got from him took about a month or two.
The pair for the SE took him about 6 months or so because he was busy working on props for the new movie, I guess.
Why don't falling block bullpups exist

>>33326880
>>33334144
Colt Python 357, guys
>>33332203
not him but I just picked up the all steel compact, and I don't mind the non-swept tail. Then again, I'm a bit of a manlet so your mileage may vary. I don't really have a problem getting a high grip on it though.
Muh babby
Ignore the time-stamping
>>33335837
That's a superb looking piece my friend. I'm gonna shill out my share to get a 92 looking like a SE.
I'd shill out even more for an M93 in SE format. Dream gun to the max.
>>33337443
Yeah, I have medium-sized hands, and figured it was sort of a big hand thing. How do you like it? They seem like a fun range pistol/home defense pistol if you don't care about the lack of a rail.
>>33337636
I like it a lot, but it is the first pistol I've ownded, so I might be lacking in the experience department. Feels good to hold, good to shoot, and I don't have any issues with the manual safety-kinda like it, actually. My thing is I don't really like the triggers on striker fires, and my manlet hands don't like the 92FS. Managed to find the CZ pretty close to me in Commifornia, so I jumped on it. Taken it out twice since I got it monday, and no complaints thus far. Thumbs up from a guy who's only used hunting guns his whole life til now
>>33337601
>I'd shill out even more for an M93 in SE format. Dream gun to the max.
I've actually thought about this before.
A custom military style Samurai Edge. Imagine an M9A3 with custom synthetic STARS grips, and an engraved Brig slide. It'd be interesting to see. Maybe add some different shades of FDE for the two-tone effect.
>>33337710
Nice man. I hope you keep enjoying it.
>>33328908
I'm sure he has the safet- oh. Right.
>forsaking our lord and savior John Browning

>>33329555

>>33337304
This is a handgun thread anon, not a unicorn one.
>>33337449
Love that timestamp though.
Postin my baby itt
>>33337761
That makes me wonder if I'd get more enjoyment out of building a samurai edge 100% game accurate, or if I did my own twist on it since all the samurai edges are personalized anyway.
A SE'd up 93r sounds aesthetic as fuck.
>>33326510
I guess I'll ask here but
I'm looking to get a handgun
It has to be
>9mm
>Black with woodgrips
>Small enough to cc but big enough to have +9 ammo count
Any suggestions?
I have my eyes set on sig p229. I have the most experience shooting sigs since that's what I usually rent at the range but the price is ridicoulous.
>>33339159
Sig P225 Classic, nigga.
>>33334198
wow I want the .32 now
>>33330175
I've finished an aluminum one, had it hard anodized. Cerakote is the way match steel/alu parts.
Steampunk nazis are best nazis
>>33341503
Nice. An aluminum one is what I'm getting.
How does yours shoot?
>>33341697
definitely kicks more than steel. I ended up setting it up as a dedicated 22 using a TacSol 2211
