Once got a $300 pistol slide for $25 because the seller had it listed with a poor title instead of a proper one.

I've never gotten a good deal. Everything worth buying sells for close to MSRP unless the seller is retarded enough to do something like>>33319949 while also magically not being retarded enough to put a reserve price on the item (that's typically 1.5x MSRP or more).

Just got my M48 a couple days ago. Seems alright but there is this gouge or something on the lower handguard sticking out. It's a bit annoying because I can feel it with my hand as I'm holding the gun.

Should I give a shit? What would you even characterize this as and how would you fix it?

I got a Jericho for $450.
I don't think it's an amazing price but it's better than most prices I've seen for them.

My P14 I got for $400 is probably the best "deal" I've gotten but my Russian 1895 is my favorite. And the cheapest I've ever seen too. But that was still $2000.

Colt 1903 in good shape for $550. Not super but as good as I got.

I've only ever bought two guns on gunbroker, and both of them were near what I would consider their market value. Not really good deals, not really ripoffs either.
