Actually, as someone who doesn't understand the HK hype, I'm impressed at the quality if it. The mounts for the spring, the parts coated, it looks good.

Mechanic and machinist here. It looks just fine. Explain your problem or fuck off.

There is a double stack version too
>>

The P7 is way fun to shoot. It's real cool and surprisingly acccurate.
>>

The only thing gay here is OP, as usual.
>>
>>33313140
I hate to ask this here, but are there any good airshit copies of the HK P7 out there? I would love to own the real thing but can't justify spending $1600+ on a used gun. Also, I could have sworn P7s were available for just over $1000 about 8 years ago, what the hell happened?

Only Nippon-based companies made replicas of them. Tokyo Marui makes pretty cheap little springers that look the part, but probably feel extremely cheaply made.

The only other company that made them was the Model Gun Corporation (MGC), they produced them in the mid 90's, so they're pretty old by airshit standards, but they do a pretty good job replicating the real thing.

(Pic related is an MGC)

They are unfortunately pretty much unobtainium unless you really try to search them out and scour the Nippon equivalent of eBay. It's a shame since they are petty neat little toys.

It's a neat piece of machinery with the delay recoil piston system, very accurate with fixed barrel + polygonal rifled barrel. For someone who never fired a gun before, my mom was able to put 6" grouping at 10 yard and tighten it down to fist size grouping at the end of the range trip.
>>
>>33316519
>>33316559
On looking up reviews of that MGC P7, it sounds too good to be true with it weighing the same as the real thing, and the trigger weight and force to operate the squeeze cocker supposedly being comparable to the real thing as well. Only problem is if they're hard to find, then parts would probably be equally hard to find or possibly harder. I guess I'll just check out the TM springer P7s since they're actually available and while they probably can't be fixed if parts break they are cheap enough to easily replace.

Why the hell can't HK start producing more P7s?
>>
>>33317541
HK won't make new p7s because they would cost nearly as much as used ones do now and nobody but HK collectors are going to buy them.

If you really want a p7 just save up and buy one. It's not like it's a transferrable 1921 Colt Thompson that costs 50,000. Plenty of people out there buy motorcycles or cars or other no guns bullshit that costs alot more than a p7 does.
>>
>>33317621
>Plenty of people out there buy motorcycles or cars or other no guns bullshit that costs alot more than a p7 does.
But those are motorcycles and cars where basically any option you choose will cost more than a P7, sans used 50cc motorcycles and cars that barely run. Despite how much I want one, I can't justify spending 1600+ on a pistol. I guess all I can hope for is that 3D printing with metal keeps improving and it eventually becomes cheaper for companies to use than machining while still delivering a similar product, allowing companies to bring back some older designs in low production quantities.
>>
>>33317791
You've been conditioned to think that no handgun should cost more than either 500 or 1000 dollars. It's very common in the gun community and I simply don't understand it.

It's a one time purchase for something that you really want that will hold its value (you will not make much money if any at all just saying it likely won't decrease).

However it's your money, just recommending that maybe you should consider getting something you want rather than denying yourself over an arbitrary group think about what a pistol *should* cost.
>>
>>33317978
Besides the problem of all the other pistol options that are cheaper, I'd also have a hard time spending that much on a pistol because of all the other guns (including pistols) that I also want that happen to cost less. It would be hard for me to save $1,600+ for one pistol when I could get a couple of the other guns I want with that money in that time. The other problem with comparing guns to cars for large purchases is the amount of room they take up. If you want a nice car you can settle on one or two, while I can easily fit quite a few guns inside of a small cabinet in my closet.
>>
>>33317978
part of it is literally price gouging though. at one point used p7s were sold at cdnn for 650-700 ish 3 fuckwads bought up all of them cornered the market and jacked up the price.
the hkparts guy was found with hundreds when he got fucked by the atf for something unrelated

confirmed for never having fired one

>>33317541

You'd be surprised on how much certain brands replicate manual of arms for their products. I never owned anything that high tier, but MGC is considered a very reputable one. I only wish I could try one of them to compare to the one I fired from a few weeks ago.

>>33318253

This is what's wrong with the HK community IMO. I understand them wanting to do what they want with their money though. Still, someday I will buy one of my own since they are very, very smooth pistols.

>“Individuals such as Mr. Webber, who view themselves above the law and engage in criminal conduct to line their own pockets"..." will be held to account for their crimes and face severe consequences, including prosecution and incarceration"

So he bought up all the P7's and artificially jacked up the price just like his bullshit website does with HK parts and accessories and he actually got punished for it?! You mean to tell me justice is real?!

Best damn concealed carry ever, nothing like that total safe feeling while being ready to shoot at a moment's notice. Most the friends I've let shoot it don't figure it out in the first shot too, slight advantage if somebody got it from me, could twirl it cowboy style, try that with a Glock and die. "Thinnest 9mm pistol made" PF-9 takes up about as much space despite the P7 having over a four inch barrel for extra velocity, not to mention unparalleled reliability. Beautiful design, probably the best concealed carry weapon ever devised.
>>
>>33320360
I'm convinced you regularly stop by the H&K factory in and offer blowjobs to employees for free.

I could throw that p7 in mud and it will malfunction, gauranteed.
>>
>>33320567
It isn't really designed for that kind of reliability, although I have zero doubts that if you simply threw the pistol into a muddy puddle that it would work just fine. Glock is probably going to work better if you force it to eat dirt from the battlefield, but it isn't going to encounter that at the Circle K, and a gunfight at the Circle K it would be better to have a P7 than a G19 (assuming you're a school teacher or a lawyer or some shit and just got off work). I'd place my faith in a clean concealed carry P7 over a clean Glock any day of the week, much less a Kel-Tec.
>>
>>33320567
Didn't the P7 actually lose to the Glock 17 in the Austrian pistol trials that catapulted the Glock to fame?
>>
>>33320567
Why would a CC gun need to withstand mud?

Quit being autistic, they really are great carry guns.
>>
>>33320671
>K it would be better to have a P7 than a G19
ofc, everybody knows less capacity is an advantage....
>>
>>33320781
less capacity is better than being fired when your boss sees the t-shirt print of a fat Glock outline
>>
>>33320848
the P7 is fatter than a G26 friend. but who cares, I'm talking to a raging HK fgt here. facts are meaningless.

For when your friends or coworkers give you muddy underwear, duh.
>>
>>33320567
is that a challenge? it's a pretty sealed gun, not a lot of places for junk to get in.

It's a .22LR zip gun, and quite possibly the most dangerous .22LR pistol on the market. That thing thirsts for blood and it will satiate that thirst if you shoot it

USFA Zip 22. It came out late 2012 or early 2013 and uses 10/22 magazines. It's known for being unreliable as shit and requiring you to put your finger in front of the muzzle to cock it. I think it's out of production now. I kind of wish I had bought one when they were available just so I could have a glorious piece of shit and talk about how I leave it leave in the back of my gun cabinet and never take out.
>>
>>33320900
P7 is 1.1 inches wide with a 4.1 inch barrel.
G26 is 1.18 inches wide with a 3.43 inch barrel.
The G26 doesn't have the same respect across the internet that the G17 has for reliability. I haven't read it anywhere but I'd also question if the P7 gas retardation system doesn't possibly make the barrel act even longer when it comes to increasing bullet velocity.
>>

yeah right. I respect the G26, like I respect any Glock. Also, you should measure the P7 at it's fat wood grips instead of the slide, you know... just to be intellectually honest.
