Oh man, i remember when i was doing my conscript service and decided it was a good idea to read this stuff while innawoods at night.
At least didn't get sleepy at guard duty that night.
Especially when the guy i relieved from guard told me there was all kinds of rustling going on in the pitch black woods.
I didn' hear a thing though.

Sweden here, but is same:

Näkken. Naked boy plays lyre in river, lures you to bathe, drowns you.

Huldra. Beautiful woman comes to sit by your fireplace, flirts. But only beautiful from front, behind is rotten tree trunk. Eats you.

Vättar. Small humanoids, living under ground. Will kill lost children, but fear adults unless they are incapacitated.

Älvor/elves. Small wraithlike spirits, often confused for mist. Harmless.

Trolls. Self-explanatory.

Vittror. Humanoids, only slightly shorter than humans. Live in nuclear families on farms. They sleep during day and wake during night.

I assume there are many more but these are all my grandmother taught me.

Finnguy here again.
There is also maahinen (maahiset in plural) kinda like malicious elves that live underground. People have been known to fall to their domain through a hole in the ground.
There they appear really pleasant and take you to a feast.
The catch is if you eat anything you can never return.
At this point you might think of pan's labyrinth and the hand eye guy but these are kinda worse as they actively try to make you eat by complimenting the food and telling you are rude not to eat.
Can't remember waht they do to you if you eat there.

Also finnish folklore: it is told that if you follow ants on their trail you just disappear somewhere.
