IDK; I've only fired a couple hundred rounds since I zeroed it. Controls are kinda shit; and the the ambient light adjustment is gimmicky and useless because it's on the top of the housing behind the turret rather than on the front of the lens housing looking forward.

About a week after I bought it I saw that Steiner came out with a fixed 3x with similar eye-relief for only a couple hundred more.

None of use started with 10 guns.
A mosin offers a huge amount of fun for pretty bottom dollar if you got it a few years ago. It's still ok bang for the buck now, just not a steal now that the guns and ammo have doubled in price.
