SMGs are dead. Short barrelled and bullpup assault rifles fill that role now. The only reason you still see them is it's not particularly worthwhile to replace them until they break because they can't just be sold off to civilians in most jurisdictions. Stocked machinepistols and PDWs are the closest thing to an SMG being seriously developed now. That thing is too big and 10mm is too hot.

Kriss makes a 10mm. It takes full advantage of the recoil system. I almost bought a simi auto on for like 1800 last week. Fuck it's sexy.

The vector is shitty meme.
The inline recoil system does nothing, worse than nothing even as it throws off your aim when the weight reciprocates.

Without the recoil system it's just another shitty plastic gun with a short barrel and top rails. The build quality sucks too, if you watch slow motion firing, the gun shudders at the seams like it's falling apart.

I'm aware of that and not mad at all, just answering OP's questions.
It's a cool toy but that's it, there will be no serious future development in the field because it is an outdated concept. Maybe in 40 years someone will revive the idea like FN did with battle rifles but don't hold your breath.

ehh, right now bullpups aren't really a thing (in use anyway) except for the famas and the l86 (lol). SBRs are used to some extent, but I think we do need a stopgap for the 15-ish years it's gonna take america to either make a true do-everything conventional rifle to surpass the M16 platform, or switch to a bullpup.
