Ok OP so from what I can tell you should only need to replace the barrel and part of the slide ramp. Check their sight for converting to a smurf and reverse engineer from there.

Called CS, person that took my call had never been asked that and needed to inquire. Stayed on hold a little while and told "No you cant convert a nonfirearm sig into a firearm." I asked if the frame aluminum was different than standard pistols and told yeah but not sure if I believe that. Could be disinformation.

I don't see why a barrel swap and extractor swap wouldn't yield a functioning firearm. I can't imagine they'd go through any extra lengths for those pistols when the conversion kit for SIGs is just a barrel and extractor.
