The M9A3 was gone so I got the LEM P30 after trying one out at another gun store.
>>33283260
Do you like it so far Anon?
I'm considering trading in my S&W M&P9Pro for a P30L Tactical
>>33283260
I bought one, too. It was the long slide version with DA/SA and safety though
>>33283260
good choice
>>33284257
>>33284365
>>33284383
Well I like it enough I'm considering getting the P30SK as well as the P30L and selling my Glocks.
That seems like a duh thing to say but I've had Glocks for work guns for a few years and they work great for what they are but obviously they are a little rough.
Maybe it's just being wanting to be a snow flake with nice guns but fuck it.
>>33286562
Same boat as you anon, I mostly shot glock for years but now I am much happier with HK and CZ.
>>33284365
I have this one and it's my nightstand gun. Trigger is bad but it's accurate, comfortable, and reliable.
>>33286872
I'm definitely switching the P30 to my work gun. The trigger is just so much better.
>>33283260
I like the P30, but that slide stop is a turn off to me.
>>33287188
Sure you do kid. Get good then come back and talk shit about things you don't know.
>>33287188
I actually like it a lot. A nice big lever to hit to drop the slide. I have trained to not do that on Glocks because the slide stop is so small on a Glock
>>33287198
Kys and fuck off. Go cry over your FNS some more.
>>33287295
Do you have small hands? It's very easy to hit the release on a Glock.
>>33287324
Medium to small sized hands.
It's more I don't like to on a Glock because it's more flush with the frame, not very textured, small, and I've slipped off of it when reloading like that before.
>>33287198
Lol, I own guns fagot, and I sold my VP9 because of how the slide stop is.
>>33287295
Yeah, I would usually mistakenly hold the lever down so the gun wouldn't slide back on my VP9. I learned on glocks so it was hard to learn a different way plus i like thumbs forward.
>>33287295
Stay mad kid ;)
>>33287361
Different strokes then. Maybe as I get more time with the gun I'll change my mind. So far though, I'm a huge fan of the whole gun. It is a world of difference from a Glock.
Anyone know how good the VP9 is?
Im considering getting one of those for my first handgun.
>>33287386
>I called him 'kid', that'll show him ;)
Everyone got to witness your 'tism fit over breaking your FNS because you are too stupid to figure out a schedule to replace springs. Stay mad fuck boy.
>>33287428
Funny, I run my guns until they break, I don't see any of your shooting footage up here. Keep hiding behind your keyboard.
>>33287420
Basically the poorer, striker, version of the P30
>>33287475
>that video
>>33287396
I am not trying to convince you to hate it. If you can shoot the gun and still get slide lock, then good for you, I am jealous.
>>33287420
Its a great gun with a great trigger, Id hoot thumbs forward. Just make sure you put your thumb on your support and and learn that way, and it will be a great gun for you.

I know, don't worry.

OK.

Lots of haters today. Got nothing better to do ;) I don't see you practising. Let's see you do better. I invented new drills.

Says the try hard who has videos on the internet to show strangers on 4chan how tough he is. Oh man. I'm actually laughing at you.
>>33287633
>practising
Uses an s in the word practicing. I think we got an Ausfalian here boys. Are you that bitchy fagot from the /int/ thread?
>>33287672
No he's the retard that broke an FNS and when FN said they'd fix it for $150 he threw a fit and said he was going to sell all of his other FN guns and single handedly destroy their reputation in the minds of the gun owning public.
>>33287738
How would i search for this thread?

Well you avoided a huge fuck up, good job.
LEM is the best trigger system ever developed, period.
>>33287803
He had multiple threads on /k/ all weekend about it too if you search the archive.
>>33287850
I almost settled for the SA/DA. I'm glad I didn't.

Jesus christ why are you meming as me? kek I should be worried but it's hilarious
I need to make more WebMs so you can save and spam them to increase the lul factor

lol
why not just get a beretta.
that is unless you have girl hands and can't hold it properly
>>33287927
Well they had an M9A3 for $430 that I almost got, but it was gone by the time I went back. Also, HK is better.

>dat bud light and a gun
call the atf faggot
>>33287879
TDA is garbage that will punish you to train on, LEM is literally the best thing ever. You can be fast, safe, accurate and efficient with almost no additional mental focus.
As much as I miss the LOP and giant front sight post and flat, wide trigger on my FNS guns - I am already better with the LEM system.
>>33287879
>>33288088
Only thing to duck - which you probably don't have training scars on, is don't try to use your support hand thumb to push down on a "ledge" because there really isn't one.
Also watch the giant slide stop release - it is not in a good stop at all and is way too pronounced. The Glock/FNS sized slide lock is what is right, it's out of the way and just as fast to use with no breaking of the grip.
>>33287879
Where is the archive?
>>33283260
P30V1? Good choice.
>>33286562
Subcompacts are dumb unless you need a gun you can conceal in a speedo. Just stick with the P30 and the P30L.
>>33288129
>Inforce
kek
Should've snatched m9a3 while it was cheap
Great choice OP
Three different P30s under my belt and I love them. The LEM trigger takes some shooting to get used to but once you do it really grows on you
>>33288294
Oh no! It's a Surefire sperg ;(
>they can't accept perfection
>>33288365
i can
>>33288364
No, Inforce is just cheap trash. Really unfortunate because Surefire is overpriced.
>>33288389
I just threw up a little
>>33288389
>Dat TAC trigger
>>33288410
We are oddly in agreement, I like the TLR-1 HL the most.
I never got how the APL could get away with being such baby lumens...
But I bought it cause why not
former p30 owner here
traded it for a usp
>has a bad trigger, just a really shit trigger
>the panels system on the grip made for an ugly look, and there was some flex and give on the back panel
>the giant slide levers constantly got caught on my hands, stopping the slide from locking back
If the p30 works for you great. but I am not regretting this switch to the usp at all.
>>33288795
>>has a bad trigger, just a really shit trigger
And you think the TDA USP has a good one?
Opinion immediately and unequivocally dismissed
Neither are stellar but you clearly are not experience enough to know the difference in a good or bad trigger
>>33288816
yeah, it is. the usp blows the p30 trigger out of the water. I should know, I had them side by side. in effect its the same trigger but without the grit, a shorter take up, and shorter reset.
>>33288949
You are wrong, this is a well established fact.
USP trigger is mushy, creepy and inconsistent.
While the TDA P30 trigger has the same characteristics its SIGNIFICANTLY less
But LEM is the only trigger in the world that matters so why do I care if you use a fully broken tool vs a mostly broken one
>>33288389
>blocks are perfect, that's why I've swapped 70% of my handgun out to non-OEM parts
>>33288949
>>33288977
there are like a dozen different usp triggers
hybrid match LEM is great
>>33288988
Yes it is, but the guy I'm talking with clearly doesn't have that, he would have stated it.
People experienced with HKs would have the sense to, he's clearly a new owner fanboy or a really really inexperienced shooter who is confusing his personal experience with reality.
>>33288977
nice dubs, but you can't just state your opinion and say "this is a fact"
(this is sa/da im talking)
I had a p30, and a usp, side by side and prefered the usp trigger
I had my p30, and a usp-c side by side, and 3 people came to the conclusion the usp-c had a better trigger
both usps were older than the p30, my full size is a KD
>>33288988
standard
dao
lem
light lem
match
sticking a match trigger blade with over travel bit on makes a match hybrid lem?
my usp is a variant 3, sa/da no safety, as was my p30
>P30 LEM
Wise choice anon. I was the one that linked those two Darryl Bolke articles on LEM.
If you plan on carrying it, look into JM Custom Kydex or Keeper's Concealment for a holster. They both make top quality holsters.
>>33289022
It's objectively recognized that the TDA P30 trigger is better (less creep, less mush, less inconsistency) than the TDA USP trigger.
I can and will always say this is a fact.
OK I will refine that, this is a fact for people who are experienced and capable shooters who have consistent skills day to day - as in people who don't get colored experiences because they are weak shooters who have a good day and confuse it with hardware improvement because they have under developed abilities to understand the nuanced mechanics of the actions.
I'm not being mean, go anywhere with legit shooters and you will be laughed out of town to suggest a stock TDA USP trigger is better than a stock TDA P30 trigger
>>33288949
>>33288977
Also while your used USP might be a KE mines a PO LEESE OG KE
;)
>>33287420
I like it better than my g19 and I love that gun.
>>33286562
I carry the P30sk and I fucking love it.
Get it, /k/omrad. You won't regret making that buy.
>>33288324
I laughed
>>33288447
Well designed lights can do more with their lumens than other lights. Its also a pistol light, you only need to see 50yards away.
>>33288977
What the fuck is TDA? Just say LEM.
>>33291374
TDA is an acronym to express traditional double/single action
>>33291365
I agree that 200 is "enough" but I like aaron cowans philosophy on WML and I want "them all" (the lumens)
>>33291374
>>33291383
ugh wayy to early.. It means traditional double action (derp) the reason for the T is so it's not confused with the SDA (striker) double action
basically the acronyms got a little fleshed out isd all
>>33289078
fuck no, jm custom kydex is pretty expensive, but the real bitch is the 10 week lead time. Fuck that shit, I got my otg hoster in 2 weeks and it was $10 cheaper
>>33289448
mine's a KD faggo. 1993, OG usp
>>33289146
like i've already fucking said faggot, I've been using sa/da
you're also being an arrogant dick
you're implying I'm an inexperienced and incapable shooter with inconsistent skills. I've been shooting for 10 fucking years guy, so shove that lem p30 in your fucking mouth and tell me how the nuanced mechanics of the actions feel then
>>33291408
>mine's a KD faggo. 1993, OG usp
noice m8
Not trying to come off as arrogant, we'll agree to disagree, sorry if I antagonized you
>>33291383
>>33291387
Just say DA, no one thinks of strikers when they here that.
>>33289078
I read those, thanks. They helped make up my mind.
>>33291285
I thought sub-compacts were a meme until I started carrying one in the summer.
The only downside I'm seeing right now is that the P30 is a little taller than a G17 despite being 15 rounds. Not a deal breaker for me tho.
>>33291614
The grip length is shorter though, so less stuff is sticking out of your pants
>>33284257
The P30 honestly is the best feeling gun I've ever had a chance to get my hands on.
>>33287950
>m9a3
>$400
bullshit
>>33292086
In the previous thread, we confirmed that pic was what anon was talking about
damn shame.
>>33292086
Yes, it was there. I'm thinking the clerk thought it was one of the .22lr models and priced it accordingly because they had another one that was .22lr in a different display case on the other side of the store with the rest of the .22lr pistols for a similar price.
Whoever got it got a hell of a deal.
>>33287475
>Funny, I run my guns until they break
>then I whine about it online like a bitch because the company won't give me free shit I feel like I'm entitled to.
Looks like I have a new trip to filter, woo fun day.
Is the P2000 LEM any good?
>>33293188
I was between the p30 and p2000 when I bought my first pistol
wish I went p2000 so I could carry it a little easier
>>33293765
What's the difference?
>>33284257
Where you at? I might buy your 9 for more than the shop will give you on trade in
>>33293815
2 less rounds on the P2000. It's about the same size as the Glock 19.
>>33293815
here we go
the stock sights are different, p30s come with photo-luminescent novak style, but those are being phased out completely replaced by night sight models in the us
the p2000 has a backstrap, the p30 has back and size straps
the p2000 has a 3.5ish barrel, the p30 a 3.75 ish barrel
the p2000 has a shorter grip and 13 rnd capacity versus a p30's 15
the p30's slide has front serrations
the p30 has a pic rail, the p2000 an accessory rail
overall, both pistols are very similar
here's a p30 and uspc side by side, the p2000 is a little less chunky but the same size as the usp
>>33293815
The P2000 is a bit smaller, but it can still take the 15 round mags. It uses a glock rail too instead of a 1913 rail. Its going to be the 9mm I get, but both are great guns.
