I would prefer the RFB, mainly because .308 rips through everything my house is made of, so if I really wanted to I could just shoot through the walls and spray out my home with 7.62mm human repellant.

Rifle is $1000.
PA advanced/Holosun sights are $150.
Lancer 30 round mag is $15.
TLR-1HL or comparable light is $100-150.

Can is unnecessary.
>>
>>33283074
saw a video on youtube of a guy taking it out of the box, stock. filmed himself firing some rounds thru it and either the firing ping or hammer assembly failed after only 50 rounds through it.
>>
>>33283145

>He goes into a HFCS(home focused combat scenario) with ONE gun
>Implying the perp won't have CQC experience from his visits to the Pen.
>Implying he won't be able to wrestle your gun away and beat you to death during a gunshot wound induced adrenaline rage state
>Implying jams don't happen
>Implying 20 man home invasions aren't common
>Implying the BGs aren't better armed than we are
>Implying .223 won't just ice pick and leave them hopped up on adrenaline and even dangerous( I've seen videos from the sandbox of haj taking half a clip and still busting off shots)

Do yourself a favor and trade that peashooter for a ADT home security subscription kid.

This is why i have a serbu super shorty attached to my AR's lower quad rail. The first three rounds of 556 i put in them through their cover are just meant to goad them out into the open so i can put them down with a real mans caliber
>>
>>33283643
Have you shot it yet? if so how many parts have you had to replace?
>>
>>33283693
I'm 500 rounds in, an none yet. I had to blue loctite the screws on the top rail because it came wobbly when I had the scope on it. It's been another few hundred rounds since then and it's been pretty great.

how well does the magazines release/latch work?
>>
>>33283931
I have mixed feelings about it. On one hand I've used it with and without gloves and never accidentally hit it. As long as you keep a decently firm grip on the pistol grip that shouldn't happen. I love the placement of it, and the actual mechanism is actually really simple, and kind of neat.

On the other hand, mags won't always drop free when the gun is at an angle without giving the gun a bit of a wiggle or holding the release down. They seem to drop free like 80% of the time if I have it tilted upwards. When holding it level with nothing in the way they'll just about always drop.
>>
>>33283931
With that said, the bolt release is borderline useless. Even with a loaded mag inserted you require some insane amount of force to get the latch to drop. Its a bit easier to use an overhand U grip to push both sides of the latch down at the same time.
>>
>>33283074
The fuck would I pay $1k on a fucking Kel Tec when the AR market is bottoming out and prices are getting lower everyday? Stupid
>>
>>33284376
Bullpup
>>
>>33284376
Maybe because most people have already purchased one or several ARs at some point within the over a decade long AR boom. Same reason people have more than one gun and sometimes duplicates of the same gun. You are in fact allowed to own more than one
>>
>>33284376
Find me a 26" AR with a 17" barrel.
