Is it worth the money?

Only if you want a clone rifle.
Get a DDM4V7S instead. Inch longer barrel and comfy mlok rail. Also lighter.
>>33280852
Nope. Not a real MK18 besides the rail.
>>33280890
Not according to the AK operators union torture test
>>33281219
Because they're the authority on milspec M4s and AR-15 clone testing...
>>33280852
SBRs are a meme in general desu. They only make sense in a very niche sense and even then a bullpup would be superior if it wasn't for logistic dominance of the AR-15 in the .mil. Look at how the 14.5" guns are being brought out recently in Syria. Barrel length matters when you aren't doing compound raids from a helicopter with a comfy fob waiting for you.
>>33281257
And who is the "authority" you fag?
>>33281405
Knight's Armament Co. has more rounds downrange than anyone with the AR-15 family if we're referring to none government entities.
>>33281219
Wasn't the only major issue the rail?
>>33281219
>muh youtube torture tests
please take an intro to statistics course before you post here again
>>33281470
KAC isnt Daniel defense
>>33281519
That wasn't the question faggot.
>>33281610
KAC doesn't torture test DDs rifle. Saying KAC has the most rounds down range is a moot point on this matter.
>>33280852
The MK 18 or DD in general? It's pretty much yes to both questions.
>inb4 a buildfag comes in saying they can build it for cheaper
Nobody cares. If you want a rifle that works without having to wait around for parts to go on sale and then put it together your self, DD is worth every penny.
>>33280852
if you want a warranty and you're too lazy to build, then yes.
the rubber on the grip is fine but it can be annoying on the stock. just unnecessary friction with your clothes, beard, etc. Might replace it like 5 years down the line, that's how okay I am with it. trigger is fine, depending on your standards/experience. I'm too lazy to fuck with it but I know I'd like something that's lighter. And a more beefy charging handle eventually as well.
I bought troy HKs for irons. no optic yet.
>>33280852
Sure, you could build your own. But if you want an excellent pre-built rifle that works and also has warranty, DD is perfectly fine. It's worth the money you get for the quality.
I do recommend the DDM4V7 though, but mostly because I'm an MLOKfag.

>RobSki
>Ever testing an MK18
Yeah, that never happened.
>>33280852
that's a question that only the purchaser can answer
>>33283194
Which magazine is that? Are they available to buy?
>>33283215
it's mine, it's two 20rd glued together, it's not available because the world isn't fair.
>>33283194
what's with the fair and instrospective shit you're on lately? Why didn't you just tell him to khs?
