Superior mount edition when?

So right now I only have a basic M&P Sport2. I've put ~4k or so rounds through it, but I'd like a very long-range rifle with a better twist rate that I could use to hunt with, and with slightly heavier bullets.

Would this upset and lower be acceptable as a base rifle? Optic comes later.

I'm normally drunk when i mount scopes to get my brain to stop it's fucking OCD of OMG is it perfect.

Get a lever for the front rail and a level for the top adjustment. Make sure they're the same. Add a small dab of blue loctite to the screws. Tighten all the screws just until you feel good pressure, recheck them all for looseness and you're done.

Longest shot I've ever had to take with that 44 lever was a bit over 200 yards on the longest open part of my hunting land.

Level not lever. I'm pretty sauced right now and apologize for any misspellings on my part.

Basically you but a level on your rail as a base line, then use a level on the top adjustment cap of your scope and get them to match. It's really easy.

I have other guns that I shoot at long range. That's just the gun I use on my land because it's very brushy and heavily wooded.

Has anyone here installed a DD MFR XS?

How finnicky is the bolt-up assembly? I've mounted a RIS twice, and each time I found it necessary to be really careful to keep the torque even otherwise the rail would pitch off in the direction of the tightest fasteners and look like shit.

If I have to deal with another cockeyed Daniel Defense bolt up system, I'll just get a Geissele rail instead.

Once you get into ARfagging is there any real escape? It has already costed me 4 nights sleep and $800 and I have not even held it yet. Looking at the optics and add on and cost of upkeep and ammo. It is like rearing a child as far as cost and personal attention is concerned.

Would piss off half the range with a brake like that I guess (overbuilt rifle range) and I'm not really looking for one.
