Are these mags any good or no?
Synthetic is besthetic

They're solid as fuck but heavy. I'd just go with Magpul. You can buy 4 magpul mags for the price of one HK
PMags won't fit MR-556. But yeah what anon said. HK mags are heavy and seem durable as hell and they're expensive.

Use Emags

Can't gen 3s fit in the 416?
>>33278059
I think so. The emag was discontinued.

They're good. You can get them cheap if you're in the Army and you ETS with your extras.

They're solid but heavy and expensive. Standard issue Okay Industries USGI mags are GTG and cheaper.

Gen 3 do fit. 1 and 2 dont.

>tfw sold all my excess mags I brought out of service with me back during post Sandy Hook scare from $20 a pop
Feels pretty good. Wish I kept the Colt ones. Kept two HKs. My whole unit was issued HKs before we deployed in 2007
Yeah sure they work and are hard to break but i feel like they undermine one of the biggest pros of the 5.56x45mm cartridge by weighing a fucking ton.
E-lander is a better price for steel.
