I go every now and again, but it's basically like paying $5 to walk around and cringe for an hour.

Just depends on where you go. I sell at some gunshows in GA (I sell non-gun items like ammo, accessories, etc) and a lot of the shit, is well, shit. Best deals are had between the dealers/vendors when setting up.

You can find good deals here and there. Like two years ago, there was this older lady and her grandson walking around. The lady's husband died and they were trying to sell off his guns. Dealers were trying to rip them off.

Which it does, the guy's name ingraved on the interior of the butt, but who gives a shit? I probably should have paid more than $500 for everything but there were some minor condition issues here and there but also that's what they wanted for everything.

Generally speaking, best deals will be from people walking around. When I sell, I'm always on the lookout for guns for my personal collection. Usually come home with one or two items at a great price because I'll pay more than a regular vendor because I'm not out to resell the shit.

The last Expo show sucked. Actually, to be honest with you, most of the recent ones I've went to have sucked, and IMO it's because Trump won and the Jewish dealers don't want to sell shit at a loss (to them). Columbus, Macon, just about anywhere you go there are fewer dealers and far less deals.

Also that fucking Osprey Global company. If you see them at a gun show, just ignore them. They act like they are making all of these great sights in "their Chinese owned factory" but it's the same fucking place everyone gets their shit from. Nothing special about them. Guy's an asshole too.

Turns out that guy also had a pistol (a Pre-Soviet Nagant Revolver) of his dad's that he was going to sell as well. Offers it to me for an extra $100 to make it $200 total. After I pay him and he gives me the guns, he also hands me some paperwork.

I live in Jersey, so the only gun shows worth attending are over the border in PA.

I convince myself to take the 1-1.5hr drive about once a year. And every year it's the same fucking thing:

I bought a Savage arms Mark II for like $99 used. It was nice. Everything else was pretty meh.

I have had mixed experiences. From just bad, to pretty ok. Gun shows are hyped because "le gun show loophole" but in reality they are like indoor flea markets with guns. Overpriced, no haggling, pushy salesmen and weird food.

Going to a gun show next weekend. It's in Cali though.

Never been to a gun show, but this thread is making me go to one for a few laughs. I don't own a gun yet, but there's a gun show going on like 30 minutes from me right now. Should I go and get my CHL there? I don't have one yet.

Sure, there were a few real assholes, but most of the Nazi stuff was reasonably marked and not held by crazed neonazis or anything. I got a few pre-ban 20rnd M14/M1A mags for cheap. Was also a nice asian man selling aimpoint and other optics too.
All in all, mostly fudd-like weapons, gearqueer stuff, and the likes. Fudd weapons I blame on MA laws more than the people.

Depends on the gunshow and state, I suppose. This was one of the bigger ones in MA so people don't play around as much. Some actual vendors and shit, S&W was there and Springfield Armory had some M1A's.
