Garbage. Fresh idea. But garbage.
>>
>>33262895
Thanks. Any ideas what I should buy for incredibly discreet concealed carry? Totally illegal where I live.

I'll bet something like this isn't as illegal as a modern firearm no matter where you live. In the USA antique replicas aren't even legally considered firearms in most jurisdictions. In England I believe original antiques are legal. Billy the Kid killed people just fine without a Taurus.

>Billy the Kid killed people just fine without a Taurus
Put any old drunken sodbuster and his .45 single against a Taurus and who wins?
>>
>>33262993
Probably still illegal in NYC
>>
>>33262993
i hate you ppl
>>
>>33263131
Honesty may be the state gotta look that one up
>>
>>33263188
>>33263131
Yup whole of NYS is fucktarded re black powder from carrying the pistol, no permit is fine if it is not able to fire otherwise its the same as modern firearms re licencing and use, to transportation of black powder (seriously look this one up)
>>
>>33263483
Still might be the difference between a felony and a misdemeanor. In California if the gun is registered to you with the CADOJ and you're arrested while carrying it at least wouldn't ruin your life as a felon. So in CA at least it would be smarter to carry an antique that would act as a loophole to that law. Could carry something better like a cartridge Boer War pre-1898 Webley if that law was the only concern, at least in that hypothetical situation.
>>
>>33263625
Truebut hereon the east coast I just assume its a felony or designed in such a way that a felony gets tacked on..... haven't been wrong too often with this logic

this is patently wrong.
>>
>>33262850
I've got one OP, I love it. It's easy to carry when I'm wearing basketball shorts or some shit like that. If I'm just riunning to the store and don't feel like taking more than 45 seconds to get ready, this is my go to. I mean fuck, it's not like I'm going to be taking head shots at 45 yards at the 7-11
>>
>>33262993
>In the USA antique replicas aren't even legally considered firearms in most jurisdictions.

not true when they are loaded

a felon cannot own a loaded antique firearm

Move.

>>33262850
I have one. Love it besides the long trigger pull. Never a misfire. Easy to aim without laser. Use is as my 2nd trunk gun. Pack it with a savage 320 12 gauge with emergency backpack in my car. As I figure it, its a fantastic conceal and backup. If a 12 gauge with slugs wont stop it, then you have serious problems. Getting it with laser/light helps.

If it makes anyone feel better I have a mossberg 500 converted to bullpup at my bedside. It came down to cost over all when choosing the savage 320.

Probably the sodbuster. Those fuckers are famously ornery anyway, and if he's drunk he'll most likely just shoot you on sight. Best just to avoid the soddies where possible.
>>
>>33262850
I have one. Comfy. Hasn't misfired.
>>
>>33268934
Taurus doesn't give a shit about quality since the early 2000s. I've never fired the Curve but it seems like a good concept though.

While I applaud Taurus for trying to innovate, their QC and engineering still needs to be stepped up.

There are better less gimmicky guns out there than the curve, pic related.

Cool idea.
Terrible implementation.

The triggers are around 16 pounds and suuuuper long.

Buy one if you want for the cool factor but don't expect a even halfway good gun

Worth it

unless your a lefty, then the curve is backwards, and rides all wonky on you....
T. left handed guy
>>
If only Glock or S&W or some company like that had tried to innovate like that.
>>
>>33268896
nothing, it's just a bit overkill for an EDC piece.
>>
>>33275769
thanks mate. how does it feel in hand? I'm a first time buyer and i'm trying to figure out what to get.
>>
>>33276570
It's thin, which makes it great for carry. Aggressive stippling helps it stay in your hand.
Go to a shop and finger one. That's the best way to see if you like it or not.
>>
>>33276206
Don't you want to be ready for the cyperpunk future where the next neghead speedbot that tries to mug you won't go down with anything less because his chest is made with alloys?
