Post your family of guns, exotic guns, common guns, every gun. Feel free to rate others, shitpost, whatever.

Thanks man!

The Mauser is all matching and with the P38/1 it seems to be a WW2 P38 repurposed after the war. The slide is marked P38 and everything but the frame is the aluminum P1 frame, from what I can guess maybe the frame broke or was too dinged up and it was replaced?

the brand is AIM sports btw. It's not top quality by any means, but it has a quick detach and hasn't stopped working after about 700 rounds with it attached. I only have it for HD which works fine, I would not recommend any field use with it.

Top: AI AT 7.62x51mm 20" lefty variant.
2nd: SAN SwissArms 551 SB (SG551SB or Sig551SWAT).
Above the pistols: CZ452FS.

>>33262841
>Also, why is it a mistake waiting until you had a steady job?

Because getting into shooting really isn't all that expensive. I mean, most the guns I have now are, but there's plenty of cheaper guns which are fine as well as many you can just loan from other shooters.

So why wait? Just get into it.
>>
>>33263055
I see your point. It's just a shame that majority of the guns I like are quite expensive, or just rare.

Also, I REALLY like that CZ. Judging by the side of the opening in the receiver its gotta be a .22.

I hope they make it in larger calibers?

Also, a K11/K31 is next on my list. Maybe a MAS after that.

Well, there's plenty of great guns which can be found second hand for not a whole lot of money. So look around and educate yourself on stuff which is less common.

>Also, I REALLY like that CZ. Judging by the side of the opening in the receiver its gotta be a .22.

Sure.
The style is colloquially referred to as "Stutzen", "full stock", or "Mannlicher" stock.

Keep at it. I want a K31, too, but havent gotten around to buying one yet. The Finnish Mosins really are great rifles, at least in my experience with mine, and the M1 is totally worth it. I fucking love that gun. Mine cost me about $1200. If you don't know already, make sure to buy an adjustable gas plug so that you can shoot commercial .30-06 through it. Otherwise, the higher pressure loads may damage the gun. An alternative would be to reload your own rounds for it at appropriate pressures, or to buy the specialty M1 Garand ammo that I think Federal produces

it's paranoid to assume that posting an image t o4chan is tracking you in any way that isn't already being done. The feds can keep paper records of firearms transactions already, they just can't keep digital records at the federal level, but states can.

If you think they're relying on grainy photos from a chinese panty sniffing message board for that data, you're straight up stupid.

Actually the story of how I got is why I never sold it.

>be me, 19 years old around 2007/08
>parents aren't against guns, but don't own any
>take after school class on archery, taught by cool older dude who was a helicopter pilot in Nam
>go shooting one day in 07 with my buddy who was in school across the state, decide I really fucking like guns/shooting
>go to local gun store to look around
>its owned by that old guy who taught me archery
>he does a good job of fostering a love of shooting, gives me ammo cans and little stuff like that
>eventually buy an AKM online and have them transfer it to me
>bit by the bug, go it soon after and find an SKS
>can't decide between lee enfield and sks
>decide to buy sks
>as I'm about to put in for the 4473, he tells me "take that lee enfield too, put it to good use"
>fuck yeah two guns
>years pass, guns come and go, still have Lee Enfield
>come back home from Afghanistan a few years later, old guy died from cancer and his shitty family sold off his store. It's still around, just not run early as well run.

That's why I kept it. I also now have a policy of never selling guns, only buying.

It's a tossup between the Savage 1907 and Remington 51 for the nicest .32 I've shot. The Remington's hesitation lock action makes them lighter and softer recoiling than their competitors.

The Savage attempted to use a delayed blowback by rifling the barrel in the opposite direction of the barrel lug cam path - the thought being the torque caused by the bullet moving down the barrel would keep the action closed until the bullet had left the barrel. Interesting concept, but it didn't really work.

Only the K31. But overall the K31s we get here in stores are of better grade than american ones. American importers focus on bulk, where here the market is smaller and more focused on quality.

The SMLE is original & not as "nice" from actual use.

I've shot one, and my basic feeling is that I might as well get an M1 Carbine. They feel really similar, but the M1 has that historical cool factor.

It's a Cimarron Model P. It's essentially a gussied-up Uberti Cattleman. I highly recommend them if you're in the market for a SAA faithful to the original design. I would not hesitate to buy another Cimarron or Uberti product.

It's a Springfield M1898 made in 1899. I managed to find a bayonet dated the same year.

>>33276856
I love it, excellent ergos, about the same size as a G19 and infinitely better trigger than all other similar striker guns. True double action gives you the option and the single action is even better than the PPQ. If you want something inbetween, the AS is a pretty dope option too.

>>33278697
>>33279221
I consider it all the time, but the fact that two magazines are in multicam makes me apprehensive. I have the original set of romanian commercial furniture but I think I'd want something with heat shields if I go to wood.

lights yeah try all use a cree led anyways, i have a nitecore one it has an 1000 lumen FL, UV light, red and blue tracking lights. paid $100 for it but i work on cars a lot and do a lot of hints around my house and a good flashlight is underrated.

optics, i can see some of them costing a ton but not sure why, i come from the dslr/camera world so i understand why those optics cost a lot because it's got a bunch of other electronics and electric motors and shit inside.
>>
>>33262550
Second revolver, why does it look like it's covered in semen?
>>
>>33284350
Optics can be a bit tricky. Yeah, sure the Leupolds and Swarovskis are nice but they dont warrant the pricetag they carry. The difference to me is very marginal. Im satisfied using a cheap vortex, nikon or whatever. I think a lot of people think that dropping 1000$+ on glass makes them an olympic level shooter automatically.

Ausfag here with my small collection, sadly about to get smaller.

My old landlord who was a total bro about guns handed over the house to his daughter from Melbourne who came up here (SE QLD) and found out I had guns during a chat with her father/inspection.

Says she wants me to only have 3 in the house maximum (originally none, but I swayed her a little) or I can find another place to live, so I'll have to let one of these guns go.

Which one /k/? I'd rather none of them but uprooting my place is just something I can't do right now.

I aspire to be at that level of collecting

I've acquired most of the bolt action rifles from WW2 sans a Hanyang 88 variant I've got a good line on. I'll complete that part hopefully by the end of March.

I really need to get more into pistols though I don't even have a 1911 yet...
