It's like you want to have unsteady hands and shit marksmanship. Who here certified?

I took a 2-day Bob Vogel class a few years back, and he is a huge believer is Captain of Crush (in OP's pic) hand strengtheners.
His grip strength is pretty unreal, and no one in the class could close the resistance level he uses.
Funny side effect, when he grips large frame Glocks (45/10mm), he actually can bend the frame enough to make it malfunction.
>>33261271
Do you think he gets nervous jerking off?
I just ordered my 100 lbs trainer. I hope I didn't get too ambitious starting off. Would be pretty based to one day be certified.
I spend a good chunk of my day cutting thick rubber and leather sheeting with shears, does that count?
>my right hand is a lot stronger than my left hand
>>33261271
Holy shit.
>>33262256
Do you have butcher hands?
>>33260613
what do you call these things I don't want to sound like an idiot at the store I'd rather do that here
>Found out I had bad wrists.
>Had to take physical therapy after a really bad dislocation on my left wrist
>Therapist told me surgery could not even help me.
>Check grip, right hand, 200lbs, left 65.
>Told me the only thing keeping my wrists stable were my tendons.
>Took a month to get my grip back.
I can dislocate at 5lbs, shit sucks.

>Implying I don't
Anyone use a dynaflex ball?
I can close the 250lb grip I have with my right hand,
Not quite with my left
>>33260613
I've always gotten the impression these things are a meme
Do they actually do anything or is it just snake oil?
>>33262845
That style is going to be bad for actual training, because it's a lever instead of even tension. Gripmasters are a way better way to train your grip strength and less memey about the tension levels. The standards go from 3 to 9 pounds, the Pros 7-13.
>>33262697
I do, pumps my forearms good.
Those things in OP just seem like a shortcut to tendonitis unless you work your way up *very* slowly and gradually.
>>33262597
i bought those once
gimmick/10
>>33263494
It's a great thing to keep at your desk and do reps on at random.
>>33260613
> working your grips at work.
> not flashing dat gold.
Come on, it's like k doesn't even know how to ball.
In all seriousness, I noticed an improvement in my shooting by doing it. I think my hand strength was just weak from years of office work.
Deadlifts and reverse curls for dat grip and forearm strength. Today is deadlift day actually, aww yes
>>33262845
>"Will working muscles against increasingly more resistance lead to muscle hypertrophy and increased performance?"
I don't know, anon, what do you think?
>>33263600
found the one person in the thread that knows what they're talking about yay
Speaking of this does anyone do finger fexilbilty exercises?
Grip could use work but it's not really weak, fingers are just very stiff, talked to a doctor and he said it's not arthritic but I should see a physical therapist but I can't afford one.
>>33263815
stretch them after heavy grip strength training
>>33263600
>doing reverse curls when masturbation is a thing
It's like you're not even trying
>>33263815
Well, you should be doing extensor excercises, especially if you do flexor work. Just take a thick rubber band around your fingers and open them.
>>33260666
If i had to go through what he went through to get strong hands i'd rather spend the rest of my days as a limp wristed faggot.
>>33260613
I'm working on my grip strength everyday
>>33260613
Haven't tried the CoC grip trainers but I got a 200#,250# and 300# of Heavy Grip trainers. Never worked my way up to the 300# one. When I started getting over 12 reps per set in the 200's and doing long holds on the 205's( would use both hands to close all the way and just hold for as long as a could letting off slowly like a negative) I noticed a huge gain in my juijitsu game.
Way out of practice now but these things are fucking way awesome.
How much does it matter?
I haven't tried one of those CoC grippers (no homo) yet, but I can do real legit one-arm chinups.
>>33261271
If someone like Vogel believes it matters a lot, then it must, right?
>>33260613
How do you train without one of those grippy thingys? How long should I do it for? Will it cause my ever-looming carpal-tunnel syndrome to get worse?
I have a trainer, a No.1 and a set of Expand your hand bands.
does anyone have that bruce lee grip strength infographic?

Was the trainer a good place to start?

I agree, bought one thinking I could focus on my trigger finger and the thing sucked ass. Felt uncomfortable as fuck and a baby could squeeze it.
>>33262845
>>33263032
a stress ball is superior and cheaper in every way.
>>33262597
I kinda want to get one of those because with one like OP pic I fell my pinky gets no exercise at all.
Captains of crush will definitely help your shooting.
>>33262535
I was a sculpting shit from age 5 at an autistic level.
I became a laborer then a welder.
I made 12th graders cry with my grip strength when I was in 6th grade.
I love walnuts and I Crack them by holding two in my hand and squeezing them.
I'm confortable with my grip strength.

this guy actually has grip strength
>welder
>move heavy shit around by hand all the time
>but sometimes get hands zapped by high frequency shocks which noticeably weaken hands in the long run
Mixed feels.
>>33260613
top lel, just lift weights like a regular person. Your grip strength will naturally improve (along with the rest of your body) if you're lifting heavy objects regularly.
