Post your edc knife and why it's favorite edc/brand
>>33258838
Complicated question. My favorite all time folder is the Spyderco Tuff, but I don't carry it much at all.
My most carried knife would probably be my Boker Tux Kwaiken, followed by Cold Steel Code4, Al Mar Eagle HD ZPD-189 (blue), ZT 0562cf, ZT 0770cf M4, Spyderco PM2, and Kershaw Premium Skyline. (pic related, minus Al Mar).
I can't pick a favorite brand but Cold Steel, Spyderco, and ZT are up there.
I EDC my auto Osborne, top one. If you EDC an ADAMAS you must never sit down.

I really love Swiss Army knives, they're fucking great knives, super fun and super useful and great to collect. I've gone through a ton of them since I was a kid.

this is what i'm carrying right now (at work). The beer scout, because I like traditional folders, and GEC makes some really great ones, and the techno because it's great for opening boxes and shit (I work in IT), and the thick, 4.5mm spine is pretty comfy to use. And it doesn't scare people when I pull it out to open stuff.
And because of the way I dressed today, a fixed blade would be a bit too conspicuous.

This might as well be 50% of most knife enthusiasts statements... But SAK/Victorinox holds a special place in my collection.
*Warning*; Sentimental 4:00am ramble fulled by Red Bull, Spotify, and the procrastination of Physics problems.
When I was 7 ish, my father gave me my first knife. A single bladed Victorinox Sheepsfoot (pic related). I carried that knife (out side of school) with me for years. Until I saved up and bought my first SAK, a Ranger it was called. I carried that for a year, and was heart broken when I lost it in the snow. So I saved up and bought another one, and that one was likely stolen at a Cub Scot event. Never bought another, I discovered "modern" folders when I was 14 with the Kershaw Skyline. The SAK in Pic related was given to me.
I've recently gotten back into the classics, bought my first Opinel and Mora, probably going to get a Higonokami, Svord Peasant, Kabar USMC, and maybe an old Camilus SAK if I can find one... But I don't see myself going back to SAK, idk why.

Not tactical, but very practical! Alox solidarity, my friend! some people complain about the color wearing off but honestly I like this and think it adds character to the knife (if it wears off evenly, of course)

nice case, i too have an Opinel i got from a friend in Metz. apparently those are as common in France as the Victorinox/Wenger is in Switzerland, but I'm a little skeptical about that. They are damn good knives though, best out-of-box sharpness I've ever seen

Yeah I was not supper impressed with my No.9 from box, but because of the thin geometry, I had an actual hair whittling edge (I mean it literally) on it in less than 10 min on my Wicked Edge.
So far, it seems to hold the edge alright, it losses it's hair popping sharpness very fast but retains high work sharpness for quite a long time since it has such a slim profile.
The case is a Pelican 1500. I've had it about a year, and so far so good.

lol nice my dad gave me one while driving me to a boyscout meetup. i remember nicking my finger with it once while trying to carve a horse out of soap with muh boyscout buddies. bandaid applied. felt like a man. I was 10. I've probably lost a shit load of those little red knives.

Whats that thing on 2223?
>>33259592
what's this? Looks kind of low quality.
>>33259694
Perhaps you should clean the stale cum and tendy crumbs out of your eyes.
>>33259745
posting another picture didn't help. Still looks low quality.
Can it cut rope without rolling an edge?

I've been EDC an Adamas for quite a while now. Being 6'4 and 230lbs, it is honestly hardly noticeable.

>Can it cut rope without rolling an edge?
Sebenzas need stropping after a couple of cardboard boxes, and that's not an exaggeration.
>>33260097
well that's dissappointing, I'd expect a knife that costs 400 dollarydoos to have a proper heat treat.
Oh well, at least the lock seems strong enough...
like the assisted open, perfect weight/size for me.
