How practical would a hidden blade/knife be? Shit looks very useful when you're about to get mugged and when the mugger gets close you can stab him in the neck.

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Pretty much the only thing this is useful for is stabbing yourself in the hand

You'd have to be a contract killer and in a situation where you have to get close to your target without getting frisked, where nobody suspects you if a person, you just been close to, suddenly collapses and nobody can ever see your full hand or wrist. This weapon makes no practical sense whatsoever. Don't know why you wouldn't just use a regular knife which would be way easier to conceal and dispose of.
>>33253473
you'd still have a knife except it's hidden and unwieldly

>How practical would a hidden blade/knife be?
Not very.
It would be big, relatively heavy, cumbersome, expensive, characteristic, hardly concealable and prone to malfunctioning. All of those are a no-no for the role it's supposed to serve, unlike a normal knive hidden ina sleeve.
>Shit looks very useful when you're about to get mugged and when the mugger gets close you can stab him in the neck
You still need to make a motion to actually reach his neck, might as well have a knive hidden in your sleeve.

All these, OP
In your scenario, the device would be 0.1seconds faster than just having a switchblade or butterfly knife in your pocket.
The wrist knife is a neat concept, but not very realistic. Like wrist rockets. You gotta watch them.

what the fuck is she so smug about?

>not wielding a katana and being proficient with the Iaido technique so you can cut your enemies in half and sheath your sword so fast people can't see you cut them.

WATCH THOSE WRIST ROCKETS!
Only works in situations we're you can sucker punch someone, pretty useless unless you are assassinating people
