If the only problems you have with my clone is the tan color of the 952v which is pretty standard and the B5 sopmod stock which has had a government contract and NSN since 2010 and is also manufactured in my state, well then I'm doing pretty good then.

Besides the M952v will probably be replaced by a M620 soon, the stock will likely be replaced with a LMT, the A2 is getting cut off and replaced with a KAC NT4 flash hider.

Fair enough, but the criticism of 7.62 applies to the G3 and FAL as well.

>>
>>33254270
The idea of forcing a round that doesn't want to go just unsettles me, I'd rather rack the bolt and see if that fixes the problem.

To be fair, I'd rather have an FA than not, I'm just the guy arguing that you can silently chamber a round without it, and things got off track from there.

I agree to an extent, although the G3 has a RoF of 500-600, compared to the M-14s 700-750, and the FAL's 700

No argument on the range queen front, she is a pleasure to shoot under those conditions
>>
>>33254270
It's the wrong claim to make. It's not going to cause a malfunction, it just isn't going to remediate what caused the BCG not to go into battery in the first place.
>>
>>33254318
what would cause the bolt not to go home that could not be solved by giving it a little push?

>>33254335
Damage to the bolt, bolt carrier, chamber, barrel extension, cartridge, shit magazine (biggest problem).

The forward assist cannot fix the problem, but it won't make it worse.
>>
>>33254386
if it's because there's mud or grit in the rifle, once the bolt is locked, the weapon is going to fire. And once it fires, it is going to blow a good amount of the debris clear. The rifle could also be under gassed for some reason, to the point that it can fire, but doesn;t have enough energy to close up again. FA would help in both situations
>>
>>33254438
Maybe one should make sure that your rifle actually functions and is not under gassed or something before going into a battle with it.
>>
>>33254372
I hope you dont honestly believe that its impossible for an AR to not fully chamber a round due to mud because ian did a mud test on one rifle and didnt have that problem.
>>
>>33252861

You will find yourself craving waffles, and a cold draft of Belgian Fat Tire for dinner.
>>
>>33254603

>>
Wishlist:

>Free-floated barrel/handguard (if they could make one that wouldn't get destroyed while using a grenade launcher, that is)
>Nitride everything
>Less retarded barrel profile
>Enhanced BCG (google it)
>Flip-up front sight

Ideally they'd come up with a way you could see your irons without having to move the scope, but that probably won't happen.

Some kind of special snowflake thing that puts the buffer tube spring into the grip and makes you able to have a hinged stock and still Ben able to fire the gun when it's folded.

You could use a system similar to that of the Makarov PB (the suppressed Makarov) but stronger.
Maybe even an added spring somewhere else.

Or an ultra angled version of the FAL system.

Also, I'd make the mags rock in.
But that's just a personal preference.

I'd also delete the forward rails and go for something like M-lok or shit (don't really care, just want to save weight.)
>>
