The danish lost 16 men, 20 wounded, one plane shot down

The germans lost around 200 men, 12 tanks, and a He11 bomber. Further 3 tanks damaged.

Worst part is though that even though the danes wanted to give a warning shot to the two ships sailing to Copenhagen, their cannon did not work.

At the ferry port in Gedser Harbour, a train engineer was forced to give the germans the control over the harbour. At first he told them that they had no right to hold maneuvres in Denmark...

Further, the germans threw letters from bombers to get the civlians to surrender. These letters where not written in proper danish.

I always find that funny. An inch of snow and bam, whole city shuts down. As I speak it's snowing outside right now, there's several inches, possibly over a foot of snow, and under that in some places is ice. We thought we were going to be done with the snow for the year but nope, it's making a comeback. Won't last much longer. Still, come spring, we'll be planting vegetables outside in the vegetable garden, and I'll be cursing the heat of the Summer while missing the snow and cold from the Winter, won't be able to wait for Autumn. Seriously, I can't stand heat over 20 Celcius (about 70 Fahrenheit), so you can imagine that while many Americans in the South might be useless up here in the -10s/20s or even -30s/40s in some places, in Celcius, I'd be pretty much equally as screwed when it gets to 100 Fahenheit or hotter.

Even in 80 Fahrenheit I'd be absolutely miserable. So there's some give and take. Americans in the south wouldn't do as well in Alaska, Russia, or Greenland as me (generally), but Americans in the south would be FAR better off in Africa, the Middle East, South America, Central America, or Central/Southern Asia than me. I'd need to head somewhere disgustingly hot for a fair while to acclimatise myself for heat first unless I want to have heat stroke.
