ITT: bombs

Do corny Looney Toons style bombs even exist anymore? Also, how does bomb defusing work?

Is it literally "cut the red wire first, then the yellow"?

.....could I make a board game based around bomb defusing or does it exist already?
>>
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqelfBKuiic Keep Talking And Noone Explodes is it.
>>
Also, tell me about the suits.

Can you actually survive big blasts in them?

This could be an interesting capitalistic venture....

People sky dive, swim with sharks, do motor vehicle stunts, etc..

So why don't people blow up bombs a few feet awayrom them for fun?

In a controlled environment with proven suits and measured explosives, would you pay $1000 to experience the explosive?
>>
I dont know shit about bombs but I know a bunch about board games

There are two popular bomb defusing board games out right now, called Bomb Squad, which is a programmable movement game where you and your friends control a bomb defusal robot, or Bomb Squad acadamy, which is card based but I haven't actually played it so i can't really tell you anything else.

Both games are pretty good i've heard
>>
>>33247815

Yea I know bomb defusing exists in games.

I'm asking if its accurate.
>>
>>33247820
survive doesn't mean unharmed.
>>
>>33247820
>So why don't people blow up bombs a few feet awayrom them for fun?
Because the shockwave would kill you.
>>
>>33247919

Oh come onn

Brace the neck and have padding as far out as the bomb could throw you.

Wouldn't you stand next to a grenade sized bomb in a suit designed to resist it?

What if everyone else was doing it? Wouldn't you want to be cool like them?
>>
>>33247806
Every bomb has a detonator. To defuse the bomb with an electric detonator, you need to disconnect the detonator from the trigger circuitry. I suggest looking for recent ISIS "tutorials" (because they are literally made for retards to understand) to know how a typical IED is made.
>>
>First, the two boxes were lined with aluminum foil sandwiched between two layers of neoprene; if anyone attempted to drill through the outside of the box, the drill bit would make an electrical contact between the steel box and the foil, completing a circuit and detonating the device.

>Second, spring-loaded contacts to booby-trap the screws holding the tops of the boxes in place. Unscrew any of them and the contacts would close, completing a circuit.

>Third, the lids of both boxes were rigged with pressure switches like those used in car doors to operate dome lights. If either lid was removed, the switches would open, completing a circuit.

>Fourth, rigged inside the top box a float from a toilet cistern. If the box was flooded with water or foam, the float would rise, completing a circuit.

>Fifth, beside the float was a tilt switch built from a length of PVC pipe lined with more aluminum foil; inside hung a metal pendulum held under tension from below with a rubber band. Once this was armed, if the bomb was moved in any way, the end of the pendulum would make contact with the foil, completing a circuit.

>Sixth was a layer of foil running around the seam connecting the two boxes; if a metal object was inserted between the top and bottom boxes to lever them apart, this would complete a circuit.

> Finally, a solid-state irrigation timer—designed for greenhouses and lawn sprinkler systems—connected to a six-volt battery. This could be set in time increments from 45 minutes to eight days. But once it had been activated and all the booby traps had been armed, it would no longer be possible to get inside the bomb to turn it off. As soon as the timer reached zero, it would detonate the device.

Pic related, FBI attempting to defuse the bomb.
>>
>>33247993

Post them pls.

Im an America. Aren't you? Yea gooberment spies on us. I actually had a guy tell me to stop googling how bombs are made. But whatever.

FFS the Army has a publicly available field !manual for improvised explosives. Bombs are weak sauce.

Atomics is where its at
>>
>>33248065

Uhh.... Use wood or ceramic tools?

Do I get a prize?
>>

You win the picture.

It's a video, and I'm in public now. Will post screenshots after I get somewhat private.

I'm in Russia btw. Here normies get v& for posting something insulting on normiebook analog, but cops pay little attention to foreign imageboards.
>>
>>33248065
God damn what a nightmare
>>
>>33248137

OK.. Use a ceramic knife to cut though the box.

This bypasses the lid and its trap.

Next, don't tilt the box to swing the pendulum.
I guess I need an actual diagram of tho bomb to get what your saying
>>
>>33247941
Are you stupid or something? The shockwave is the one that kills you (and not the shrapnel), not by throwing you away but by shifting your organs inside your body, and no amount of padding and braces can protect you against that.

Twenty eight mechanical switches on the top box.

Three of them could be used to switch the tilt mechanism on and off for safe transport

Another five instantly detonated the bomb

The other twenty switches were wired but led nowhere as decoys to confuse X-ray analysis.

Cut the wires?

Wires and other components can be cut remotely by firing a disruptor into the whole package.

If a simple googleimage blows your RSP opsec, you must have some shittier techniques.
Any hicktown bombsquad can buy a disruptor out of a catalog, theyve been unclassified for years.

>It's always a battle between you and the IED-maker, nobody walks down there to deliberately throw a game. You wouldn't want your peers at your funeral thinking you lost because you fucked up or met an IED that you couldn't defeat.
If your head isn't in the game, you can turn and walk away at any time, it's a volunteer job, nobody will force you to go forward again or think less of you if you stop, it's part of the culture.
If a tech wants to suicide, it would usually be quietly with the bottle not a bomb.

>Born in Hungary in 1922 as János Birges, John grew up in Budapest. When WWII hit, he flew an Me-109 for the Luftwaffe. He was arrested by the Gestapo for disobeying orders during the war, but was released. After the war, he again found himself in hot water – this time with the Russians. He was arrested in 1948 and charged with espionage. His sentence was 25 years of hard labor in the Gulag. The stories vary, but most agree that Birges was able to escape his work camp by detonating a bomb as a diversion.

>In 1957 Birges and his wife Elizabeth immigrated to California. He changed his name from János to John to fit in. The couple had two sons, Johnny and Jimmy. John built up a successful landscaping business and bought a restaurant, working his way into the millionaires’ club. From the outside, they were the perfect example of the American dream.

>He beat his wife and his children, even forcing them to kneel on gravel when they disobeyed him. Eventually, Johnny left home to escape his father’s fists. Elizabeth filed for divorce, and was later found dead under mysterious circumstances. Birges began gambling heavily, especially at Harvey’s Wagon Wheel casino in Lake Tahoe. He eventually burned through his personal savings, as well as the income from his businesses. The once millionaire was now penniless, but he had a plan. Just as a bomb had helped him escape the Gulag, he’d use a bomb to extort his money back from Harvey’s.

>>
>>33248857
to be fair, people retarded enough to pay to be blown up for a thrill deserve to die anyway.
this is why we have waivers and make them pay up front, even if we know all of them will be guaranteed to die, its not our fucking problem.

Probably.
The testing data is for representative standard steel ball bearings at various velocities to replicate blast/frag not smallarms, but even the arm kevlars are thicker than most military bodyarmor and ditto the front panels , same for the chest and groin plates.
>If they're shooting at you while doing the long walk, you've seriously screwed up in your initial cordon and clearance planning...
But I'd estimate a decent suit would stop at least 7.62x39mm frontally, and even the groin protector would stop pistol rounds.

>GloryQuest
good taste.

But obviously, why wouldn't they let them spread around porn if it'll act as an opiate for the masses
>>
>>33249124
Porn sure, but bestiality is a much harder to utilise commodity.

I mean, nowadays is great, what with every Tom, Dick, and Harry being able to start a porn site. But it wasn't so long ago that we were using secret google groups to stream videos on a per invite basis.

The thing was, cops didn't go after people who watch zoo, they still don't, but it was still illegal.
There was no reason for it to go fully underground, but no one would host it on the surface net anyway.

Also, if you like the GloryQuest Beast Emperor videos, just look up the actresses, quite a few of them have gone on to be successful anime VAs.

Yeah, I thought it sounded like BS, but I didn't even know Glory Quest had a secret series of Beastiality porn, so I was willing see for myself. Once she started talking in the video I knew something was up, and checked the VAs picture and saw it was different.

Not too surprising, given the fairly limited amount of names and kanji combination for names in japanese that there would be some weird overlap at times.

Overall, I got to see a jap get fucked by a dog, which was first for me, so I consider it an overall positive experience.
