I refuse to use scopes or red dots, iron sights only.
>Shoot a crossbow for 5 years before owning guns
>Crossbow can only be used with scopes
>First scope breaks my second time shooting at the range, collapses inside of itself from the bow being fired
>Get a red dot sight in the mean time
>Not sighted in
>Since I'm using a crossbow I need to cock it each time before I can tweak again
>Since it's a crossbow, stance matters a shitton, and if I'm not turned at the exact same angle every time the bolt can go in different spots
>After having to basically exercise to try and get it sighted in, it doesn't get sighted in
>Turn the RDS off and put crossbow away
>RDS got knocked on when I was putting it away and I found out the battery's dead next time at the range
>After a while get a new scope
>Same problems of being unable to sight in due to finicky crossbow stance and the amount of time/effort in between shots
>After five years of that shit the thought of getting, mounting, sighting and aiming through a scope on a firearm makes me want to throw up

I play airsoft and unironically enjoy it

The truest autist of them all.
Autism Prime.
I have a nonsensical preference for guns of my own country, even if a foreign alternative is better.
Somehow I still bought an AK74 (there's just too many fucking ARs man) for my first rifle (I'm a burger) but will probably buy a BHP for my first pistol.
>a scope on a firearm makes me want to throw up
stopped reading right there, 2bh

I have an irrational bias against shotguns because the one time I tried using a shotgun (some double barrel coach gun of some kind) I accidentally pulled both triggers at once and busted up my shoulder. I was using 3 inch magnum shells.

You mean where the post ends?

I'm not comfortable with anything until I've torn it apart and put it back together. It doesn't matter how nice a gun is out of the box, I have to disassemble it completely and change it somehow. New springs, sights, grips - it doesn't matter. Nothing is mine until I change it.

It will most likely get me spotted when I'm hiding in the bushes from the invading communists, but I had my milled-out 80% lower anodized in gold because I wanted it to be a Trump gun.
And I spent half an hour trying to get this photo right.
