Can tandem-charge be defeated?
>>33236013
Yea, put ERA on your ERA
>>33236013
with tandem armor
>>33236462
to make this even more interesting, consider that in this image, the main portion of the insert, which would have gone between those standoffs is supposedly missing
>>33236013
Sure, with APS.
Are many of those rpg-29 in syria around?
>>33236013
by economic collapse of your country before you have any chance to use it.

>andrei-bt
>That ukrainian hohol
>>33237752
are you trying to imply it hasn't been used in conflict or produced? its seen use in Syria and Iraq.
APS, slat armor in some cases.
>>33237752
>nobody except the soviets ever produced tandem warheads.
You really should shut your mouth sometimes.

A few
The RPG-29 was employed against an M1A1 and a Chally 2 in OIF, penetrating both but not killing the crew
They've been killing T-72 derivatives in Syria and monkey model tanks in Yemen lately
Its a pretty big deal desu

NxRA
Uses rubber instead of explosives. Also tandem charge proof. Or you could be a badass and put slat armor over your ERA and be super tank!
>>33237337
I'm guessing you mean APFSDS. ERA will actually defeat that. The explosion deforms the sabot and kills a lot of it's kinetic energy.

>>33238503
Why is that tank covered in shopping carts?
>>33238517
No, he meant Active Protection System you donk.
>>33238517
>I'm guessing you mean APFSDS. ERA will actually defeat that.
No it doesn't "defeat" it, it's just gives more weight and space efficient protection than simply bolting on thicker armor.
