Out of the common aircraft in games set in modern settings, yes. But I think there are some shitty-ass WW2 prototypes that are damn interesting, like the XFY-1 Pogo and the Do-335. I personally like the EMB 314 Super Tucano, it's like a generic WW2 piston plane but with modern equipment and tech.

While being a plane built around a gun is amazing, there's a lot of cool planes out there, especially if you count prototypes and shit - like the SR71's nuke-armed interceptor brother, or the Valkyrie

Still, the A10 is very cool

I like its competitor, the YA-9. Its like an Americanized Su-25, it should have won but wasn't meme powered.

I look forward to see A-X to take A-10's role
