for anti-rotate there's short pin that goes in even shorter hole pre-drilled above gas tube hole in upper tube for compatible upper and other short short hole drilled in mega handguard.

insert the stainless steel pin in upper and it will bottom out with half sticking out to go in handguard when slipping it on.

yeah just ensure mega upper is the one with hole drilled for that. some of them dont have it, older one i think.

its pretty light t b h. installing it was a little wonky with the shims, but once i got it tightened on it was pretty good. much easier than any other rail ive ever put on.

barrel nut is part of the rail, its one big piece. u just put the barrel in, slide the shims over the barrel and tighten according to the chart they give u. no fucking about with a barrel nut and screws and tightening in two different spots etc.

You don't necessarily need a Colt marked BCG, just so long as it's mag phosphate with no brand logo on the carrier. Early A1's had 1:12 twist barrels which may be fine for shooting lighter rounds, but if you wanted to use heavier, modern ammo, you should probably get something with a faster rate.

Theoretically if scope is moved forward as in being bit closer to muzzle than it was previously before being moved. The point of impact should be moved up slightly before vertex of the trajectory parabola and down after the vertex of the parabola. plus some windage change.

In theory, you are moving the optic distance closer to target, albeit slightly. Consider where your zero is currently, and your ballistic drop, and you will find it will impact slightly higher for whatever load data you are using.
