What's the best reasonably cheap way to get wood furniture on my vepr fm AND still use imported nags without breaking this faggy import ban? Should I even care?
I'd love to just buy Russian rpk furniture, but that puts me over. Maybe just the handguard and then buy someone's take-off century arms stock?
Should I even care?
>>33228355
mags* not nags obviously
>>33228355
>giving a shit about 922r
>>33228366
I want to show it off without some autistic asshole recognizing the surplus parts and trying to get me in trouble.
You should respect all firearms restrictions and regulations as they were put forward by a democratic vote with the community's best interests at heart.
If, however, you choose to ignore my genuine and heartfelt advice and violate 922(r) don't listen to the people who talk about the 5 year statute of limitations because removing and inserting a different magazine is technically a different assembly in the eyes of the law.
>>33228355
Nobody fucking cares.

>922r
Literally no way for anyone to prove it isn't in compliance, plus no one has ever been charged with just a 922r compliance violation. It only ever comes up when importers or manufacturers are doing other illegal shit and the ATF wants to stick them with more charges

>>33228394
I think you're too stupid to own guns.
>>33228355
Did you import or manufacture the firearm? If no, then 922r technically does not apply to you.
>>33228355
>Should I care about 922r
No, it's impossible to prove what parts where made in the US and which parts weren't (except parts that are stamped). Also no one has ever been charged with 922r violation that I know of
>>33228647
Except the magazine is part of an assembled firearm per 922(r) so you did manufacturer it in the eyes of the law if you put a magazine in.
922r is just something tacked on to another charge if you pissed someone off or are a dealer.
>>33228636
>says the goat posting tripfag
shoo
go back to /arg/
personally, I keep stuff around to bring my WASR into compliance if I was ever worried about it
that really just amounts to a mag change
but I don't give a flying fuck about compliance otherwise
>>33228647
922(r) applies to everyone, but it is not generally enforced for individuals
stop spreading this myth
>>33229273
If you have foreign mags then they will just tack on constructive intent.
>>33228608
This.
I've purchased several guns from dealers over the years that I doubt were 922R compliant. Nobody gives a shit, and it only applies to the individual who did the "manufacturing" / "modification".
Which, well, can be hard to prove.
Next time you go to a gun show, how many tapco'd sks's do you see? 922r violations if they have pistol grips, etc.
>>33229284
Learn to real legalese.
>>33229304
there is no constructive intent for that
and my foreign mags are only for use with my tapco grip installed
every part I own is part of a theoretical legal configuration anyway
I either use US mags and foreign furniture
or swap the pistol grip or handguard or stock to use my foreign made mags
even in constructive intent were applicable for 922(r), I wouldn't get dinged for it
>>33228355
Nobody cares, and if you're really paranoid just slap a "Made in USA" sticker somewhere on the foreign part.
>>33228355
Literally nobody will notice or care

Problem solved.
Nobody can prove a thing.
>>33229456
Oh you...
>funny you link to stamps, because I was working a gun show several years ago with this old garage FFL who hired me to help out, and there was a dealer there in the early morning before opening stamping his company name + Made in USA on AK mags.
Went over and looked at the mags during the day and they were a mix of surplus Yugo and Polish mags. I couldn't even laugh. He was selling them as US MADE AK-47 MAGS $14.99! on a big fucking banner
but i also knew of a mexican who used to buy cheap bananas from Aldi and slap organic stickers on them. Sell them at the farmer's market for 10x markup.
>>33228666
thank you, satan
>>33229991
You would be suprised at how often the food at farmer's markets is just supermarket produce.
>>33229109
Suck my non-922r-compliant AES-10B.

Thats pretty ugly senpai

No.

Oh, I know. Staple of being a Southerner is we know every flea market and farmers market and yard sale and barn auction hustle out there. We are Jews in our own Sweet Tea sipping way.
>>33230055
Wait i just realize that rifle was compliant like that lol
