9mm if it's a newer one, which is probably all you'll find, 40 if you get an older one with polygonal riflling.

I'll always recommend 9mm though, as it's my preferred caliber for capacity and economic reasons, as well as one the fact that there's not much disparity in handgun caliber ballistics, but I won't get into that.

I'm not entirely sure the IDF used the Jericho at all. From what I understand, all the surplus Jerichos that were imported recently were prison guard or police guns.

When I let people try it at the range, every person so far has been impressed and made some remark about how they are surprised in a good way.

I spent a little extra to get mine reblued and threw some wood grips on it

I bought one about 3 weeks ago. Full steel 9mm variant. I fucking LOVE it.

Feels great, looks great, shoots great. Every friend who shot it loved it, including a cop friend who's on the SWAT team.

Look on Gunbroker. CDI Sales and Mach1 Arsenal are two sellers that get Israeli surplus from time to time. The steel frame Jerichos go FAST though, so you need to check often and be ready to buy. I got mine from Mach 1 Arsenal back in early 2015. With shipping and FFL it came to about $420. It's steel framed with the frame safety. Out of the five handguns I own, the Jericho is by far my favorite to shoot, and it's the one I'm the most accurate with.

If you want to go full space cowboy, you'll need an early model 941R in 9mm imported by KBI so it says Jericho 941 on the frame instead of Desert Eagle Pistol. They're harder to find and run for more because of weebs needing it as accurate as possible.

If you or >>33211694 and >>33211704 just want the 941R and don't mind it being a Magnum Research import, then you want to search sites for used guns only with "jericho" "baby eagle" and "desert eagle 9mm"

Pic related and a few others, I found with "desert eagle 9mm" since a lot of people will just read the frame, see "Desert Eagle Pistol" and list it as such.

I'm still not sure what kind of 9mm pistol to buy.

towards the end of that pdf is an exploded view where you can double check to make sure you're not missing pieces, or if some of the little parts might have an edge snapped off or something.

I've only completely disassembled mine once, when I first got it, and didn't have any trouble putting it all back together. The gun shop that took it down for blueing didn't report any issues re-assembling.

Best advice I can give is to look at the pdf and make sure your parts aren't broken, then watch a youtube how-to on assembly, then try to replicate what you've seen.

If you've already done that, then good on ya and I'm of no help.
