tfw fell for the M&P meme
I don't understand. Is there something wrong with the gun? Is it wrong you?
>>33208569
Better than glock brand glock, highest selling gun in the US.
Whats the meme?
>>33208587
Nothing, he's just a dumbass.
>>33208605
The fact that it's really popular is the meme.
See, the thing with meme guns that people don't get is that they are meme guns for a reason. Usually, that reason is because they're pretty good, so they get a pretty good reputation, and they get pretty popular.
When you put meme in front of something, that gives it a negative connotation. But it's not in the case of firearms. Most meme guns, be they Glocks, M&P, AR15s, 1911s, etc are meme guns because they're pretty good guns.
>>33208569
>not going full in and getting the 40
pepe would cry...
got one the other day over glawk, thumb safety and price sold it for me
>>33208569
Yeah. So? Great little gun.
>>33208569
Every M&P I shot was fine. The sights, trigger and AESTHETICS were not my cup of tea but the fit, finish and quality all seemed excellent.
>>33208569
>he got the safety
I wonder if shield gets 2.0 update
>>33208829
>its to retarded to use its thumb
>>33208837
the 45 version is kinda that.
>>33208913
That's what I thought.
I haven't handled the 2.0, but the trigger on the Shield 45 is VERY different. It looks like it has the same/similar grip texturing and the same slide serrations on the front.
>>33209109
The Shield trigger has gone through a few changes over the years; S&W just never mentioned them. My 1st run Shield had a way poorer trigger than newer ones.
That said, Apex DCAEK trigger beats both old and new triggers pretty handily. Haven't tried the 2.0 though so I can't speak on that.
>>33208869
not that anon, but I have to agree the safety on the shield is not built in such a way that is conducive to deactivating it quickly or from a normal shooting grip.
I carry mine a lot.
>>33208633
>glocknade
>1911
this surely is bait.
I like mine
>>33210838
>points his firearm down the entire line of shooters to take a picture
hey man, you're a fucking faggot
>>33210838
This is how I carry it
>>33210327
why is there no EDC thread up right now anon? you should start one desu
>>33210852
I was the only one at the range and the chamber was empty as well. Thanks though ranger Rick.
Anyone have any recommendations for a holster other than alien gear
>>33210959
g-code incog
>>33208569
Those feel like shit in the hand desu
>>33210892
is that the talon grips? I got them on mine and they make a big difference on the gun, the gun is so small and thin that I had trouble keeping a good grip on it with the stock grips while firing but the talon grips fixed all that.
>>33210959
>>33210971
gunshop fag reporting in, friends and i have had our sticky hands and ass/crotch areas on every holster you can imagine. highly recommend the bravo DOS holster over the g-code incog for a gun that size, it is perfect for G43's and shields.
>>33210984
They do but its a reliable gun. Got mine for 250 at gun shop
>>33210984
eh, I liked them over other similar sized guns, obviously they aren't going to feel as good as a full sized gun though.
>>33210838
thought the thumbnail was the floor/wall in a decaying abandoned house desu
>>33210991
Yeah talon grips, it also helps me a lot, it more how thin the gun is than anything for me.
>>33210998
I have both, BC DOS is crap compared to the incog IMO, bought the DOS first and found it very uncomfortable. It was supposed to be a custom formed one, yet it had sharp edges all over the damn thing. I love BC for OWB holsters though, have 4 from them.
>>33208569
Personally, I hate the trigger, but whatever floats your boat.
>>33210852
Dude just kill yourself already
"THE UNLOADED GUN IS MAGICALLY GONNA MATERIALIZE A BULLET AND SHOOT ITSELF"
>>33211063
i think the newer DOS's are better, they also do a thing with the clip on there that makes it good with the way the thing does
Any word on the .45 shield
>>33211191
I've held one
I like the feel, and the stippling is fantastic
Next time I go to the range I will rent one
>>33211073
>lol you practice basic gun safety, kys!!!
you are the reason I don't go to indoor ranges. you clearly don't belong here
seriously why isn't there an EDC thread up though? i hate posting first
>>33211065
Seriously, Apex duty/carry action enhancement kit. Total night and day difference. It's not terribly expensive either; I think I paid $135 for mine. Lighter pull, cleaner break, crisper reset. The gun is so damn cheap throwing the kit in there if you don't like the stock trigger still keeps it comparable to most other CCW offerings.
>>33210959
>JM Custom
>Darkstar Gear
>Custom Carry Concepts
>Keeper's Concealment
>Raven Concealment
Do note that all of these are not shit unlike aliengear
Here's mine. Saftey, always off.
>>33212220
>JM Custom
The list could very well just stop there.
But none-the-less good recs anon, never used about half of them but word of mouth is stellar.
>>33209109
Much more aggressive grip texture and serrations, and a much improved trigger
The XDS is an objective better single stack than the Shield. But the 9/40c are better than the XD Subcompacts. (I do own both)
>>33212459
I had the XDS in 45. Wasn't a very fun gun, I bet the 9 would be fine being in such a light pistol.
>>33210959
Stealth Gear
>>33210597
I, I must be retarded then cause I've had no issues.
>>33212843
what is your draw to first shot time?
>>33212863
0.0 shot in leg everytiem.
>>33210959
crossbreed
>>33212863
idk dont have a timer
>>33212843
>>33212863
I don't even use the safety on my Shield, only reason I have the safety version was because the non was out of stock and I wasn't about to pass up a $290 Shield.
>>33213556
just putting it out there, if you start averaging your time with that safety you can identify your consistent ability to smoothly use the safety under time pressure
>>33213585
my only criticism of that safety is its shape and placement which i described earlier, that and i saw a video where one youtube fag claimed the safety would toggle on and off in his fanny pack
>>33213639
Right on. I've been practicing with a close to body vertical draw then disengaging the safety on arm extensions.
Thoughts, critiques?
>>33213669
hah, I've never been accused of thinking. Stay safe and stay frosty
>>33212348
Why don't you take your little gun and fuck off Cyrus!
>>33208569
>meme
Therapist mode engaged.
I know you think you know what this word means, even though you don't.
Can you tell me what you think it means?
I bought my Pro 9 on black Friday. Ditched my Glock and I couldn't be happier with the M&P
>>33211221
>gun was verified visually and physically as empty
>no one is holding the gun
>there's no one at the range other than the person taking the pic
>not practicing gun safety
Pretty sure the reason you don't go to indoor ranges is because you're a massive faggot.
>>33212459
I didn't like the way the XDS felt in my hand. The angles and texturing just felt wrong to me. But that's just me though, if it feels awesome in your hand, then cool beans.
>>33208569
What's wrong with it, my nigga? Love mine.
>>33211221
There's basic gun safety and then there's being autistic. You probably think storing guns and ammo in the same room is dangerous, too.
>>33215498
>no belt
>belt clip holster
You are a special kind of stupid
>>33211221
You do realize Juan Peron is better than Pinochet ever was right?
>>33215498
those pants.. durable, brand?
>>33217064
Size 32, Old Navy Khakis. They're literally god tier.
>>33215559 #
I took that picture as a joke for Jewbook. Of course I wear a belt.
>>33217181
thanks
>>33212348
Fuck off there, heavy metal dick.
>>33210327
are you me?
>>33217352
>>33208569
At least it's not in 40
>>33208569
piece of shit gun.
>>33215558
I get these faggots in the gun shop all day long. They get hella assmad when you explain why their shit is wrong or try to sell them a belt. Idiots frequently ask me to help them find an IWB or OWB holster only to reveal they refuse to wear a belt. FUCK
