Hey /k/, I found some antique shotguns down in my grand father's basement. One is a single shot breach load, with no makers mark. Could someone identify it for me, and maybe a price?

why would you want price?
Wait
are you trying to sell your gramps shotty?
am dissapoint
>>33207077
looks like a cheap H&R single shot shotty
> price
maybe 25 bucks?
Another picture, the mechanisms of the gun all seem to work fine, I dry fired it once.
>that saw
Don't even fucking think about it
Not trying to sell, my grandmother is just interested in its worth.

Everyone stop! How many times does this happen? We know we are going to get increasingly upset at his increasingly dis-respectful treatment of his grand fathers possessions. Its either not real, or another /k/ommando looking to get some kicks, which im leaning towards, seems to know alot already. And if you're actually just trying to sell them you seem smart enough to do some fucking googling.

Minimal. Sub $100.00.

That's a generic single-shot shotgun. There have been many made over the years since the early 1900s.
It doesn't really matter what model it is.They're worth like $50-100 tops.
Not trying to make a quick buck off of it as some may think. Any idea how old the thing may be? Apparently it was originally my great grand father's. I plan on restoring it.

I wanna say it's from like the early 20th century, can't be earlier than that or later than the 40s

Might be a topper single shot based on looks, a have a .410 and 16 guage that look similar

I like the rings but please keep your finger off the trigger, even when you're sure it's unloaded.
It does look like a fairly cheap early 1900s production single shot; if it was me i'd wipe it down with a bit of oil, get a box of shells in case you ever had to use it; and keep it hung on the mantle in memory of your families abilities and means to not only protect, but to provide for their own.
