A lot of Middle Eastern countries got shipped captured StGs and massive amounts of ammo by the Soviets. Besides that, Prvi Partisan and some other ammo manufacturers still make Kurz, and it's popular among legal civilian shooters in Pakistan because of how their laws are. Feeding the weapon really wouldn't be an issue because the Middle East and East Africa are pretty much the last places on Earth where Kurz can still be commonly had from old Cold War government stockpiles. Of course, AKs and 7.62x39 will always be more prevalent, but still.
