Alright Listen up. I know jack about guns, but I bet I can sum up everything about this board and basically cease your reason to exist here.
This is what I, a real man, have chosen to protect my wife and her son. This thing is powerful, lethal, and can take any burglar down. It's fast to reload, cheap ammo (cheap rifle), and is SO reliable.
This here is a mosin nagant, made as a sniper rifle for the red army during world war II. The kick on these things are unreal, it hurts my shoulder. They're crazy. Rumor has it that soviets used to hunt bear with these babies in Siberia.
No need for collections or shiny objects or anything. Just a gun with all the "history" you could ever need.
This is my favorite thread on the board right now

Bubba'd milsurp thread? Bubba'd milsurp thread.
>>33205899
I am pretty sure that it was a service rifle, not a sniper rifle per se even though there were variants made to fit that role.

Your bait/humour sucks, buddy.

Last Mosin.
>>33206086
I figured we might as well make some use of it by turning it into a bubba thread since some other thread died for this. Put up some roll charts or something if you want it to die quickly.

After 18 years of living on this planet, earth, I can confidently say that I have no fear whatsoever.
I have been abducted by a masked madman and lived to tell about it.
I witnessed 3 (three!) UFOs and felt not the slightest pang of anxiety.
I was publicly humiliated in front of my entire school and merely laughed along with the crowd.
In my greatest feat of sheer ballsiness to date, I actually DIED and WENT TO HELL and LAUGHED in Satan's face!
Having experienced all major forms of fear and felt not the slightest discomfort or unease. In fact, in situations where most fear, I LAUGH.

>>33206079
This one isn't too bad. I kinda like it.

I know this thread is bait but I just wanted to say that all you need for home defense is a 12 gauge full stock pump shotgun loaded with birdshot.
There is not a single reason this is not the best option for home defense.
>>33206222
/r/ing more vandalized K31s
It's my favorite gun in the world but fuck is it oddly compelling to see how badly people mistreat the damn things
>>33205899
As a milsurp collector, I'm here to tell you that this thread hurts my feelings.
@33209036
Ah, the classic double bait.
>>33209245
>Firearm and ammo are cheap as fuck
>No age restriction or license requirement to purchase and own at least in the US, unlike handguns
>Loud boom and pumping sounds are distinct and intimidating
>Full stock allows for significantly better target acquisition and recoil management than no stock at all
>Birdshot will fuck a person up really badly while still losing a significant amount of velocity after passing through drywall or plywood that stray pellets wouldn't accidentally fucking murder your family members in other rooms, unlike buckshot, or handguns; birdshot will also recoil far more softly than buckshot

Except a 16in AR fills all those roles better and has 30 round magazines. Probably won't need that many rounds, but you have them if you do. And you can get an AR for under $400 now.
