Left right or center?
I like right for removing acorn.

In my experience the right was always the most accurate in the break action pellet guns I've used. The ones I used had a small cavity sort of like an open tip match type deal. All of them would be pretty conducive to removing small varmints though.

What caliber and what muzzle energy?
Right: 10M target, low velocity short range pesting
Center: long range accuracy
Left: useless

Right for rodents and sky rodents. Those flat tip would fuck up their little brain pretty good
Also, since we're talking about pellet gun, which is better for ratting, .22 or .177?

Left: larger animals with thicker skulls and skin such as raccoons
Middle: general duty hunting at all ranges
Right: small/ thin skinned game, target shooting, and plinking

What ranges are you thinking about shooting at and what country are you in?

Not even.
I've never shot anything except the .177 Crosman Premier hollowpoints I get from Walmart and it's a fucking coon killer.

177 would fly straighter and is good enough to down a nutria
