got pic related. i have ALWAYS wanted an Ithaca 37. I'm so happy to finally have one. Got a good price on it from J&G too. It's one of the newer Ithacas. Ya know, i'm guilty of being one of those "they just don't make them like they used to" kind of guys but i think Ithaca's quality has gotten even better since they moved their business to Ohio. I didn't know that it was even still legal for them to do it but it can also slam fire just like the Ithaca of old. The pump action is incredibly smooth and light. It'll feed just about anything from the 2" Herter's to 3" magnums. It has trouble feeding the Aguila mini shells but that's to be expected. i love how strong the ejection is. the shells don't just simply drop out of the bottom. if you aim the ejection forward it'll easily fling shells over 10 feet away. I could go on and on. I'm just super excited about finally getting my Ithaca. Next I plan to get a used Ithaca and refurb it a bit. gonna make either a stakeout model or a trench gun model out of it.
