I carry two reloads at all times. it's not about being in the shit with 10 bad guys. it's allowing you some options... if your bad guy ducks behind some concealment or light cover (like furniture, car door, or counter) you can feel free to light the fuck up and try to get hits, or just to keep him under cover while you flank, because you've got plenty of ammo.

it's actually the 9mm version, P938. It's my second one, that's how much I like it. The Scorpion version isn't anything too special, just nice G10 grips and the FDE paintjob. I carry an extra for my 1911 because otherwise I've only got 8+1, and I know myself enough that I'll probably dump it if I get into a shootout with some dude. Now, I practice my marksmanship like any other person but it's nice to know I've got another mag just in case I manage to miss everything, or if there's more than one attacker.

But, I feel like I can get away with that reasoning considering that they're slim little single stack things, and not 14 or 15 round double stack mags like a lot of modern handguns.
