He tried comparing 115gr 9mm (light for the caliber) to 180gr .40 (standard for its caliber). If he had compared 124gr it would have been more of a fair comparison however it seems 147gr is becoming the new normal for 9mm loadings.

Seems like a cool enough dude but he set the 9mm up for failure using light for caliber bullets when he used a standard weight for the .40, plus his big fat "meat target" lol which is is no way scientific

I wanted to be a believer in .40 at one point SO BADLY but all handguns in common duty calibers just suck...

I can see why some agencies like the .357 sig since it's just a 9mm on steroids and certain divisions, like highway patrol, need something with more oomph than even heavy +p 9mm will give you for barrier penetration.

Although really if we want to defeat barriers we need to be looking at rifles not handguns.
