Any /k/ommandos in Las Vegas, Nevada?
>>33189132
How are the gun laws there in Las Vegas? I'm possibly moving out there.
>>33189132
Me and my old platoon buddy's are having a reunion in Las Vegas in 2 months. How far from the Strip are you?
>>33189132
Heyyyyyyyoooo, Henderson here, Green Valley.
>>33189417
There are none (actually there are, but nothing you would notice, easily among the best gun laws in the nation)
>>33189548
didnt they have that UBC law they bullshitted into existence but wrote it in such a way it cannot actually ever go into law
>>33189563
Yeah, I voted against it, but it's basically unenforceable. It just means you have to get a free background check at gun shows now. Which is bullshit, but it's really not that big of a deal.
>>33189634
Oops wrong pic
>>33189132
I lived in Reno for a few years, miss that awesome state
>>33189634
so the law does nothing pre existing law did? Wonderful. Glad they made the state of Nevada spend all that money
>>33189660
Well, no. It means all private sales of firearms have to go through a NICS check.
>>33189705
good luck enforcing that shit.
>>33189705
Actually, it was deemed unenforceable and the FBI refuses to do the checks. The Nevada Attorney General said that Nevada won't enforce the new laws unless the FBI changes their position on the issue, which isn't likely to happen.

>>33189714
Correct, BUT, private sales at gun shows are 86'd. No one dares do them in fear of a sting. (Which is nonexistent ) but still, fact of the matter is... no one is doing private sales at gunshows anymore.
>>33190040
What? So that means all sales are going to be from dealers? Lame. Half the fun of going is seeing average Joe's secret arsenal
>>33190096
No, you can still buy privately, but you and the seller have to go to the background check booth and fill out the 4473
>>33190156
Vegas fag here, this post is entirely untrue. The law was passed, but is unenforceable because of the position the FBI took. Our attorney general even said he will not prosecute anyone for a private sale. What this means is the status quo is as it was before, i.e. private sales are done with no background checks until the FBI changes it's mind or in 3 years when the referendum is legally allowed to be rewritten, changes, or dropped.
Nevada fag posting in Nevada fag thread. Nothing quite beats the desert scenery.
>>33189132
Hey, fellow Nevadan here. Nice place I suppose. Some bad eggs from Cali but nothing much. A shame about the state going blue.
>>33189548
Agreed.
I love Nevada. Reno is sorta dumpy but the areas around it are nice. Sucks that LA fags are cucking vegas and the rest of the state
>>33189417
Sales tax on out of state transfers. That's the only thing that really sucks. $100+ to get your CCW, but without it you have to pay $25 for a background check on any transfer.
>>33189132
Yes.
>>33191441
I'm a worst coast pleb that dreams of the desert. Is it as good as I think it is?
>>33189132
I'm going to Vegas in a few days to meet a friend from Europe who's there for business. I'm planning to bring my Bersa so she can try shooting for the first time. Are there any relatively cheap, non-sketchy indoor ranges around where we can go? Not absolutely packed on weekends is a plus.
>>33192132
no
>git out
>gib casino monies and leave
this is literally how I feel. I moved here from California when getting was good, established a business (despite the 'who you know' limitations) bought a house and have watched traffic slowly build up on the 215 every morning at 8am. If you don't know anyone, you'll drown like i nearly did. This is not a nice place to live initially... after the first three years, your golden.
>but we do have a crime problem.
>>33192168
american shooters. off strip near the prostitute track and surrounded by 'sex trafficing' massaging parlors you'll find the LEO friendly one stop shop with a $10 range.

Looks like it's on Arville Street near Chinatown Plaza - is that the place?
